Apple Pulls Ex-Gay Therapy App From Exodus International

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Apple may consider themselves very open to the "alternative" lifestyle, but they have demonstrated once again that they will not tolerate any "alternative to the alternative lifestyle."

Exodus International is a 35-year-old organization with the stated purpose of helping individuals with same-sex attraction reconcile these proclivities  with their belief in Christianity and a pro-creative, gender-uniting plan of God.  They also spend a considerable amount of effort on educating the general public (especially more conservative Christian groups) on being more comfortable around people who experience same-sex attraction, and how it can be mitigated through the positive application of Christian doctrine.

Exodus international provides educational materials, support groups, social media, conferences and events to individuals, families and the general public. The "Exodus International Iphone App" was part of this effort until Apple pulled the app, claiming that it violated their rule of "not being offensive to large groups of people."  It doesn't take much intelligence to see the hypocrisy of this action.

A quick search on itunes reveals the following apps that are apparently, "not offensive to large groups of people":

Sexy Touch Game
iGrow Male Enhancement
Gay Lover
Gay Karmasutra Sex Positions
PRIDE (The App for Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgender People)
BoyAhoy Gay Chat
Recon: Gay Fetich Profiler
Visual Gay Sex Tutor

Remember, despite what some people in the media wold like to claim, a majority of people do not want same-sex marriage, and surely a much larger percentage would like to stay as far away from a "Visual Gay Sex Tutor" as possible.  But no one has called for its removal.  They just stay away.  Is it not possible that the people offended by a Christian group claiming that God can help them with their unwanted same-gender attraction can also just stay away?

No, of course not.  Because this isn't about offense; it's about social control.  Promoters of the "gay lifestyle" need us all to believe that there is no alternative, that they are victims of a society that won't let them be the way they "just are."  People like my friend Joshua pose the biggest threat to them, and therefore must be ridiculed and even litigated into silence.

The same thing happened in December when Apple pulled an app supporting "Traditional Marriage."

Apple is certainly not an "open" platform, but there are always alternatives.

Judge Imposes Sharia Law in America

Monday, March 21, 2011

According to a document on the website Jihad Watch, Circuit Court Judge Richard A. Nielsen ordered earlier this month that a civil  dispute between current and former leaders of a local mosque over who controls funds awarded during a 2008 eminent domain proceeding be decided under “Ecclesiastical Islamic Law.” Below is a copy of the relevant section:

Tom Tillison over at Red State explains the case via a post from Brigitte Gabriel:
The current mosque leaders want the case decided according to secular, Florida civil law, and their attorney has been vigorously arguing the case accordingly.
The former trustees of the mosque want the case decided according to sharia law.
Here’s the kicker.
The judge recently ruled “This case will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic law,” (sharia law), “pursuant to the Qur’an.” [Emphasis hers]
Now it’s not unusual for a dispute to arise within a religious institution and for a court to order a mediation or arbitration, in order to resolve this without the court having to render its own judgment.
But what makes this case unusual, and highly troubling, is that a group of Muslim leaders—the CURRENT mosque leaders—who do NOT want to be subject to sharia law, are being compelled to do so by an American judge!
“In effect, due process in an American court is being denied and Sharia law is being imposed on an unwilling participant,” Tillison writes. “Right here in Florida.”

Libya Kicks Out Western Oil... Just As George Soros Planned?

Thursday, March 17, 2011

UPDATE: Obama departed to Brazil where he personally strengthens Soros' oil interests there.

Out with Western oil, in with Russian and Chinese oil. Is it just coincidence that George Soros sold his Western oil stock and bought stock in Russia and Chinese oil companies, about three months ago?

Starting in 2009, George Soros invested heavily in Western oil companies in Libya. His investments brought enormous returns, and then at the end of 2010 he mysteriously sold them, and bought stock in Russian and Venezuelan oil.

Each Western company saw stock prices skyrocket over the last six months: Suncore Energy up 46%, Petroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras up 15%, Occidental Petroleum up 36%, Marathon Oil Corp. up 61%, Conoco Phillips up 42%, Halliburton up 67%, Hess Corp up 57%.

Soros somehow knew to reduce Suncore stocks on New Years eve. Soros dumped almost all his holdings. Likewise, Soros dumped almost all of Halliburton on New Years eve. Same for Hess. Soros dumped almost all of Occidental at the end of September, along with most of Conoco Phillips. He dumped much of Marathon in June. Soros actually increased PBR but that might have more to do with its huge oil bock buy in Africa. Each company began to tumble over these last few days because of the bloody revolution in Libya.

Soros switched much of that over to Russia and Venezuela oil giant Harvest National Resources, which skyrocketed right after his initial September 2010 buy.

Last March, Soros invested in airport screeners. How did he know to do that? Insider info! But how did he know what would go down across the Middle East?

Soros was behind the Egyptian uprising. But it is crucial for him that Gaddafi must stay in power! Otherwise his Russian investments might lose out. That explains why Obama dittered on something as simple as a no-fly zone for 31 days!

Update: Mercury News finds a gay Mormon... actually turns out to be prominant gay artist!

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

Well he's not actually Mormon. She lied about that in the title.

Former Bay Area reporter Michelle Beaver claimed Mormons perform electro-shock therapy on gay Mormons, in a plea to anti-Mormon sites for dirt. In her email she said she is preparing a book about Mormons and Proposition 8:

My name is Michelle Beaver and I'm a freelance reporter working on an in-depth article for the Bay Area News Group... The article is about Mormon treatment of gays, from the affects of reparative therapy, to the feelings of Bay Area gay people and ex-Mormons regarding Mormon involvement in Prop 8.... I am also writing a book with the working title, "Humble Pious: Mormon Humility Versus Mormon Hostility in the Age of Gay Rights."

In regards to the article, I would very much appreciate if you could lead me to anyone in the Bay Area who is or used to be a gay Mormon. I have been finding some fantastic information for my article, but I still have not found a gay Mormon who lives in the Bay Area or who used to live in the Bay Area. I really need this missing puzzle piece....

1. As you may know, researchers in the psychology department of Brigham Young University in the 1970s used to perform ammonia and shock therapy on gay people, and a Mormon-affiliated group called Evergreen took up the cause later and performed similar "treatment" until at least 2002.

Michelle Beaver couldn't find any victims for her article, so it turned out to be just propaganda for top anti-Mormon websites.

But in the title of this latest Bay Area News Group article she claims she found "Mormon voices" from victims of this alleged eletro-shock therapy. All she found was a Berkeley graduate who left the church long ago. Kerry Rutz claims electroshock therapy did occur and that he was "in mortal danger."

Actually, he didn't see any electroshock therapy himself, and the only conflict he gives was between him and his brother.... but they can blame the church anyway. Rutz claims electro-shock therapy might even still be going on in the Mormon church.

Their intent behind this treatment can only be compared to the motives behind experiments conducted on concentration camp victims during World War II; like the fascist regimes which supported those "experiments" in Germany and China, the Mormon church's ... maltreatment of gay and lesbian Americans amounts to barbaric criminality.

Zero evidence for this wacky conspiracy theory. Zero evidence that the church wronged him in any way. Just some dispute within his family because he was gay. Read the entire interview; he sounds like a very bitter man.

Actually it turns out Kerry Rutz is a prominent artist in San Francisco's gay community (if this is indeed the same Kerry Rutz). Gee, why didn't Beaver mention that?? Rutz says his art shows "a jaded resignation to the social, political, and personal frustrations of life and continued efforts to use this resignation to facilitate positive change." Positive change? Comparing Mormons to Nazis, wacky conspiracy theories, and hoping that gays' vitriolic hatred against Mormons "doesn't change"... is that positive change? Check out his Murder Series... interesting stuff.

Michelle Beaver continues her bigoted blitz at the Mercury News. She starts with another lie about the Mormon Church: "Mormons dispute charges they were the main impetus behind Proposition 8's passage."

This time Beaver did find a real Mormon, famous Glenn Beck critic Robert A. Rees. He admits "One of the unfortunate results of Proposition 8 is that it tended to divide some LDS congregations, in some cases pitting member against member." Well, I guess that's true. Beaver found some other alleged Mormons, who want to remain anonymous, who don't agree with Proposition 8.

She states that Mormons "did donate a lot of time, money and organizational expertise," but fails to notice that opponents of Proposition 8 vastly outspent the proponents. Her language becomes funeral as she claims the "church's stance on Proposition 8 created casualties."

Michigan Democrats Charged in Forging Fake Tea Party Election Documents

Two Michigan Democrats were charged Wednesday with nine felonies for allegedly forging paperwork in their attempts to get fake Tea Party candidates on last November’s electoral ballot.  Michigan was one of several states where “fake” tea party candidates were running for office, propped up by liberals attempting to divide the conservative vote.

The sheriff says 23 statewide races had questionable Tea Party candidates on the ballot and the investigation may go beyond Oakland County.  “It was learned that a scheme was developed by a party leader in Lansing to place on the ballot people pretending to be Tea Party activists and that this was going to be a statewide effort,” Bouchard said.
John Tramontana, a spokesperson for the state Democratic Party, told FOX 2 that this was not a state party issue and it’s not our place to comment.
“What we have here is illegal. It’s forgery. It’s fraud. It’s perjury. It’s those things. Then you cross a different line,” said Bouchard.

Mercury News promotes Anti-Mormon sites in covert gay rights hit piece... alleges electro-shock therapy against gays

Saturday, March 12, 2011

Mercury News wants you to know there are support groups for Mormons who question their church. The article diluted to a simple propaganda piece for anti-Mormon websites. Emails reveal that it started out as a gay rights hit piece but apparently she couldn't find anyone to back up her ridiculous claims.

"Mormonism is not a Sunday-only religion -- the church reaches into almost every section of a member's life... They also go to organizational meetings, camps, missionary farewells and missionary homecomings."

I don't recall ever being required to attend a Mormon camp or organizational meeting? Sounds cultish to me. But Michelle doesn't stop there. In the emails she claims Mormon groups like BYU performed shock therapy on gay people... as recently as 2002.

In preparation for her article at Mercury News, Beaver emailed PostMormon. She said her story would be "specifically for gay mormons/exmormons" and "Mormon treatment of gays." Gee, her article doesn't say that! Only at the end does she admit she hates the church because they "threaten loving relationships, and [] drive family members apart." Up until then she just wants to provide support for Mormons who "have unorthodox beliefs!"

In her email she admits she can't find a single gay person who actually used to be Mormon! How are you going to write an article about something that doesn't actually exist?

My name is Michelle Beaver and I'm a freelance reporter working on an in-depth article for the Bay Area News Group (The Oakland Tribune, The San Jose Mercury News, etc.). The article is about Mormon treatment of gays, from the affects of reparative therapy, to the feelings of Bay Area gay people and ex-Mormons regarding Mormon involvement in Prop 8. A little more about myself: I am a former employee of Bay Area News Group and of the Associated Press, and I'm currently editor of two national medical trade journals.

I really need this missing puzzle piece. I'm excited to have learned about and think it sounds like an intelligent, caring group of people.

If you know anyone you can send my way, please have them e-mail me or call me at (602) 575-1986. I need to hear from them as soon as possible. Also, if you and/or any other member of the Bay Area chapter of could answer the following questions via e-mail (or call me and I'll ask the questions) it would be a huge help. If you or your group participates, please send the responses by Friday. Feel free to skip any question you don't care for.

1. As you may know, researchers in the psychology department of Brigham Young University in the 1970s used to perform ammonia and shock therapy on gay people, and a Mormon-affiliated group called Evergreen took up the cause later and performed similar "treatment" until at least 2002. What is your general opinion on this part of church history?

2. In your opinion, is Evergreen affiliated with the LDS church?

3. How much pressure is there on gays in the Mormon church to change their behavior?

4. To my knowledge, the gay community and/or gay individuals have never asked the church for an apology or for admittance of supporting reparative therapy. The Reconciliation organization sent a petition to the Church, but have any other efforts been made to raise awareness about reparative therapy, and/or to ask the church for an apology? Has there been any talk of lawsuits?

5. In your opinion, how angry is the gay population of the Bay Area (in general) toward the Mormon church for its involvement in Prop 8, and do you think those feelings will be likely to change? How does your group feel about Mormon involvement in Prop 8?

6. What is your name, age, what city do you live in, and what is your general profession?

7. How many members are there of, and of the Bay Area chapter?

Feel free to add anything else you think is pertinent and to ask me if you have any questions. Thank you sincerely!

NPR Admits they Don't Need tax Funding, Slant Reporting

Tuesday, March 8, 2011

Today, the Tea Party Patriots called on Congress to defund National Public Radio (NPR) of all federal funding after biased comments by Ron Schiller, president of NPR Foundation, surfaced in an undercover video released by James O'Keefe.  In the video, Mr. Schiller says that there "just aren't enough elites in this country" and calls the majority of American "uneducated" and "racist."

"Mr. Schiller himself candidly admits in the video that NPR doesn't need federal funding, and welcomes the opportunity to slant their reporting without the oversight of the taxpayer," said Mark Meckler, national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots.  "At a time when the country is upside down by more than a trillion dollars, can we really afford to provide huge subsidies to entities that openly state that they don't need the money?  Let's take his advice and pass legislation that would defund the clearly biased news organization that is out of touch with Americans across the country."

"Mr. Schiller's latest comments provoke a larger question: how long will we as a nation be willing to tolerate the arrogance of the self-appointed ruling elite?," said Jenny Beth Martin, national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots.  "His unedited comments are indicative of the mentality of ruling elites who are threatened by the power of the Tea Party Patriots.  This bizarre behavior comes at a time when Americans are taking their country back through the legislative process.  Political victory has led to policy victory, and the elite had better wake up to the new reality."

In the video, Schiller said the Republican Party has been "hijacked" by the Tea Party.  A man posing as Amir Malik from the fictitious Muslim Education Action Center Trust finished the sentence by adding, "the radical, racist, Islamaphobic, Tea Party people."   Schiller then agreed and said that Tea Party supporters aren't "just Islamaphobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it's scary. They're seriously racist, racist people."

Wisconsin Tea Partiers Clean Up Capital Trash from Liberal Protestors

Saturday, March 5, 2011

It has become a well established fact that whereever a large group of liberals gather, there will be plenty of trash left for others to clean up after them.  The enraged and irresponsible unionists and liberal wackos were finally ordered to leave the Wisconsin capital grounds by a judge so they could be cleaned. As they have with all "trash" political and liberal, Tea Partiers took up the task once again to literally clean up the trash.

The protesters may be out, but the garbage left behind most definitely is not.  Cleanup cost estimates range from $347,500 to $7,500,000, depending on who you ask.
So, who is going to take out the trash?

Tea party supporters have taken to Facebook to organize an event called “It’s Time to Take Out the Trash!”:
It’s not about partisanship or protests, but pride.

It is time to take out the trash… literally. In true Flash Mob fashion, on Sunday at exactly 1300 hours (1:00 pm for you non-military types) we will do an extensive police call (pick up the trash) around the capitol square. Regardless of the state the grounds are in, we will do this as both a literal and symbolic way to show our respect for our home.

TEA Partiers know how this is done. It is time to show OUR pride for OUR state OUR way and be the example.

Even if you cannot attend, please share this and invite all of your sane friends who share our love of Wisconsin.

No signs, no screaming, just a necessary cleaning.

The Enslavement of Americans by their Government

Wednesday, March 2, 2011

by John Hutchinson

Slav’er’y (noun)

1. System based on enslaved labor
      a. The practice of, or a system based on, using the enforced labor of other people
2. Condition of being enslaved laborer
      a. The state or condition of being held in involuntary servitude as the property of someone else
3. Hard Work
      a. Very hard work, especially for low pay and under bad conditions
4. State of being dominated
      a. A state of being completely  dominated by another
5. State Sanctioned Slavery (Added by the Author)
      a. The confiscation of the individuals income and prosperity for the benefit of the state and those controlling the state through the use of excessive taxation.

Are we now slaves to our very system of government? Our government was designed and intended to serve and protect America and Americans. But that system has now grown to unmanageable proportions and its priorities have changed from serving the common good to serving its own agenda.

Look about you. We are now existing and working more and more for the needs of the government that was intended to serve us. And when you are working for the governments interest that are not your own are you not working under duress through taxation?

The Federal Government is now running a 13.5 Trillion Dollar deficit and it is growing daily. That is added to the estimated 90 Trillion Dollars total liabilities owed by the United States Government that is acting on the behalf of the American People. In other words you and I owe that money.

As the state increases taxation on the country to pay for ever largeness of the government the citizens will become more and more enslaved to the state. The fruits of labor will be consumed by higher taxes, inflation and the deterioration of quality and services purchased. In this way the people of America’s needs and priorities become second to the needs of the state and the people of America become enslaved to the state.

A nation must have revenue in the form of taxes upon goods and services to meet the needs of the country. Very few will ever dispute that point. A nation needs roads to prosper and grow. We need a strong defense to protect from aggression and intimidation by other nations.

However the Government of the United States and many of the individual states have been allowed to grow unchecked and not in proportion to the abilities of the American People to sustain its financial requirements. We the American People are now broke with no means to repay what our government has spent in the guise of serving the common good.

Our government, our representatives and senators, our presidents, governors and state assemblies have sold us into slavery. And they have done so not to serve the common good but in building power bases with special interest groups and unions. Our future and even the future of our children are now committed to working not for our own prosperity but to pay for the greed and selfishness of the very people we trusted to safeguard or country and our future.

What is slavery really? I have provided the dictionary’s definitions at the top of this article. But that is dry and impersonal. My definition of Slavery is when another through no action of yours levees a tax upon your labors and confiscates the rewards of your labor. In the days when one man could enslave another it was simply one man taxing the wages of another at 100%. One man controlled the life of another and reaped all the rewards of the slaves labor.

So without the chains and the whip our own government has enslaved the American People to the debt it has accumulated not by serving the American People but by preserving its power base. We must work to pay for what has been spent in our name. We are obligated to repay trillion’s in debt spent for no common purpose. Our own government has not only confiscated our wages, it has stolen our future and even the future of our children! We and our prosperity have been sold into a debtors prison that we can never escape from.

But why? Why did our own government, our elected officials do this to us and America? What was the goal and the exit strategy? Sad to say but I do not think there ever was one. As the truth and half truths surface over the action of the government for the last ten or twelve years or more it appears that our government bought into the biggest pyramid scheme of all time. Everyone could have a dream home without really working for it, everyone could have golden pension plans and people on welfare can live just as comfortably as everyone else. If we can just borrow a little money from our future earnings. And once they started down that path the only way to stop it was to shut it down completely and no one was willing to do that. They just kept adding cars onto the back of the train. And when there were too many cars for the engine to pull they added a second engine and on and on and on till today.

And we are still far from the truth America. There is a lot more to come. The Republicans in Congress are still acting like they can salvage America from this train wreck but they know the truth. The truth is that to save ourselves from this mess we are looking at years of hard work, high taxation and reducing the size and scope of the Federal Government back to levels not known since just after World War I.

To do so we have to break the backs of the public sector employees unions, special interest groups and even reduce our military forces. Close federal departments like the DOE, DOT, EPA and more. There is no other option. We must not only stop the spending by our government but we must start paying off the debt as fast as possible. We have to now push the train backwards and uphill at the same time.

You are going to hear lies from our government on how they are going to fix this problem. Any ideas or promises they put forth are nothing but lies. The America is that the only ones that can fix this are you and I! The first thing we have to do is STOP the spending. Not slow down the increases in spending, not reduce the spending but simply stop it in its tracks. There is no current political leadership willing to destroy their power base to accomplish this.

We cannot fix it by raising taxes in corporations, the wealthy or anyone else but you and I; the everyday American. Taxes on Corporations and the wealthy are only passed down to the working men and women in the form of higher prices through inflation and we end up paying the tax and then some.

But our first priority is the take our country back! Take America back from the despots who have raped our country and our futures for their own greed and self interests.

Take America Back; from the Socialist Left that has pillaged wasted our children’s future.

Take America Back; from bloated Republicans who turned a blind eye to what was going on in exchange for their own agenda.

Defeat the special interest groups that have worked to drain the wealth of America like some leech or parasite on a victim.

Make no mistake we are all slaves to the state now. But we do not have to stay that way. It is up to each of us to do something and then do even more. It is not enough to simply vote or opine our opinions on a website or a bumper sticker. We need to start being on every street corner in America. We need to make the politicians tremble when considering every action and inaction they consider. And we need to destroy the special interest groups utterly through legislation and through sheer power of reason and the pressure applied by millions.

I will ask you to recall the Cold War. Millions of humans endured decades of suppression and a substandard living behind the iron curtain. But all it took was one crack in the communist dictatorships and the whole system collapsed.

I will ask you to remember the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King. How sheer willpower and the belief in the American Dream even when America was not just to all led to one of the greatest and proudest moments in American History.

And I will also ask you to look upon Venezuela. How easily a nation can be led astray by the lies and deception of a corrupt and cynical government. How fast one nation can deteriorate into a shadow of its former self.

It is time to wake up America. It is time to start fighting back before it is too late and we are doomed to slavery to the state for generations to come.
