This is what will take Gingrich Down

Tuesday, December 13, 2011

if anything will....  Gingrich is a big-government progressive RINO!!!

UNBELIEVABLE?! Newt loves FDR, models himself after Woodrow Wilson and admires SEIU’s Andy Stern

Gingrich is caught praising his favorite president of the 20th century: FDR. Yup, he picked the mother of all progressives ahead of Ronald Reagan.

Watch the video montage below:

Cue sound of heads exploding across the country…NOW!

Seriously?! This is unbelievable.

“This goes back to what Newt Gingrich said on this program. You got to get things done. That’s akin to saying we all love the Constitution but there are things we got to do,” Glenn warned.

“FDR did get things done, and then they were ruled unconstitutional,” Stu joked.

But that’s not the worst thing – on the clip at the top of the page Glenn reads a story where Gingrich praised SEIU’s Andy Stern in one of his books.

In his book “Real Chance: From the World That Fails to the World That
Works,” Gingrich praises the SEIU head, who remains a close adviser of
the President Obama. Pitching the need for conservatives to respect
organized labor, while simultaneously pushing back against some of
Labor’s more cherished legislative goals, he wrote the following:
” Conservatives cannot cheer unions overseas and then be blindly
anti-union here at home. There are legitimate historic reasons for
workers to organize together, and there is a strong need for a
healthy, competitive, union, movement that helps improve the lives of
its members and the competitiveness of our country.
Andy Stern, the head of the Service Employees International Union,
is the union leader who probably best understands the challenge of the
world market and the need to make American union members productive in
the face of world competition. Sadly, he is a distinct minority among
union leaders. “

“So he loves Andy Stern,” Glenn said. “If he can’t figure it of Stern is a Socialist communist dirt bag then he shouldn’t be the leader of the free world.”

And he admits to be a fan of Woodrow Wilson!

GQ: Obama One of "Least Influential People Alive"

Friday, December 2, 2011

Ya think buyer's remorse has hit hard enough already?  First on GQ magazine's (a decidedly liberal publication) list of "25 Least Influential People Alive” is the "Chosen One" himself.

No. 25 — President Obama:
Okay, so we’re cheating a bit with this one. He did order the raid that wiped Osama bin Laden off the face of the earth. But then he used that surplus of political capital to let everyone in Washington stick a boot in his ass. This is a man who should be the most transformational figure of the century. Hell, he promised to be that. Instead he wields all the power of a substitute teacher at night school.

Not far behind the Democrat's failed wunderkind are a couple more of his accomplices:

No. 3 Ed Schultz

There are so many repugnant political pundits on TV now, we tend to forget that the likes of Sean Hannity actually represent the best of the lot.
[...] Do you watch The Ed Show on MSNBC? Of course you don’t. No one does. [...] Did you know MSNBC suspended Schultz this year? It did! He called Laura Ingraham a “right-wing slut,” and he still couldn’t get noticed.

No. 17 — Newsweek/Daily Beast Editor Tina Brown:
Brown spent 2011 transforming Newsweek from a magazine no one reads into a magazine no one reads but everyone despises. That’s what happens when you @#$% the corpse of Princess Diana by Photoshopping her at age 50 for your cover, then do a separate Photoshop of her holding an iPhone…

Sex With Animals OK for Soldiers, Senate Decides

The U.S. Senate voted Thursday to approve a defense authorization bill which included a provision that not only repealed the military ban on sodomy, but also repealed the ban on having sex with animals — or bestiality.

Tony Perkins, president of the conservative Family Research Council, said there’s a definite link between the repeal of DADT and the repeal of the sodomy law.

“It’s all about using the military to advance this administration’s radical social agenda,” Perkins told CNS News. “Not only did they overturn Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, but they had another problem, and that is, under military law sodomy is illegal, just as adultery is illegal, so they had to remove that prohibition against sodomy.”

Perkins said removing the bestiality provision may have been intentional — or it may just have been “collateral damage.”

Former Army Col. Bob Maginnis told CNS News some military lawyers have indicated bestiality could be prosecuted under another section of the military code of justice — Article 134, for offenses against “good military order and discipline.” It’s not a sure bet, though.

“If we have a soldier who engages in sodomy with an animal — whether a government animal or a non-government animal — is it, in fact, a chargeable offense under the Uniform Code? I think that’s in question,” Maginnis said. “Soldiers, unfortunately, like it or not, have engaged in this type of behavior in the past. Will they in the future, if they remove this statute? I don’t know.”

Gingrich Wants To Pay Children To Clean Government Buildings

I can see it now. Throngs of little kids scrubbing the Capitol floor singing "It's a Hard Knock Life." Conservatism at its finest! Let's pay 10 year olds to use harsh chemicals to clean their schools, like prisoners in a prison, and pay them minimum wage. That will "fundamentally change the nature of poverty in America!"

Maybe Gingrich was trying to sound Libetarian- do away with government restrictions and all that? But then he wants the government to hire these children to service their school buildings- which is big government. So... is it Socialism or Conservatism?

This is the face of the man who destroyed the Republican party.

VIDEO: I Voted for Obama...

Thursday, December 1, 2011

In 2008, the youth vote was overwhelmingly for Obama and helped elect him to the White House. Now, three years into his presidency and one year from the most important election of our lives, college students are thinking twice before voting for Obama again.

Thanksgiving Delight: Climategate 2.0

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

Just in time for the holidays, whistleblower Foia.org apparently released more of those Climategate emails- a lot more. Over a million. Most of them have yet to be cracked, but the 5,000 emails without passwords contain the same cover-up from the same characters at University of East Anglia and around the world. Media Matters and Thinkprogress urges the media to investigate before they say anything. After all, "hide the decline" didn't really mean what it sounds like, I guess.

Here is one exerpt from this new email leak:

<1939> Thorne/MetO:
Observations do not show rising temperatures throughout the tropical

<3066> Thorne:
I also think the science is being manipulated to put a political spin on it
which for all our sakes might not be too clever in the long run.

More on Gingrich Baggage

Friday, November 18, 2011

Think Newt is destined to become the Republican nominee?  Think again.

A few days ago we ran an article pointing out the amazing hypocrisy in casting aside Herman Cain for a few unsubstantiated harassment claims (not too unlike those made on Bill Cosby and Clarence Thomas, other Black conservatives who dared to stand up for their beliefs) for Newt Gingrich, a man rife with scandals (both involving sex and money) stretching over decades.  (See our article: Cain is Immoral? What About Newt Gingrich?)

Of course the liberal media are licking their chops as they hope beyond hope for an Obama-Gingrich contest.  They are getting the video clips, soundbytes, and "expert witnesses" ready even as we speak. Did you know that Gingrich accepted $1.6 Million from Freddie Mac for doing essentially nothing?

Two more articles have appearing in leading news organizations incredulously questioning the collective wisdom of conservatives in turning to a candidate like Newt.

BREAKING: CA Can Defend Prop 8 in Court, says CA Supreme Court

Thursday, November 17, 2011

It is being reported that the California Supreme Court has unanimously decided that pro-family citizen groups do in fact have legal standing to fight for Prop 8, a voter-approved constitutional definition of marriage as between one man and one women.

After opponents succeeded in overturning the voter-approved constitutional amendment through a sympathetic federal judge (who was gay himself), they have been attempting to shut citizen groups out of the court proceedings by arguing that the citizens have no right to fight for the new amendment. Since Prop 8 became part of the California constitution, they argued, it was up to the state to defend it. This was argued with tongue-in-cheek since it is well-known that the current governor and attorney general were in fact fighting on the side trying to nullify the vote of the people.

From the Mercury News:

In a unanimous ruling, the justices sided with Proposition 8 sponsors, who've argued they should be able to appeal a federal judge's decision last year striking down the same-sex marriage ban because the governor and attorney general have refused to defend the voter-approved law. The state Supreme Court overwhelmingly agreed that Proposition 8 backers can go it alone in trying to preserve the gay marriage ban.

The Supreme Court was emphatic that it would "undermine" the California ballot initiative process if the governor and attorney general can trump the voters by declining to defend such laws in the courts.

"The inability of the official proponents of an initiative measure to appeal a trial court judgment invalidating the measure, when the public officials who ordinarily would file such an appeal decline to do so, would significantly undermine the initiative power," Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye wrote for the court. [...]

As a result, the 9th Circuit could be in a position to rule on the case fairly swiftly, as it already has been briefed and argued by both sides. The court has one fresh issue to resolve, as Proposition 8 backers have raised new arguments that Walker's ruling should be set aside because he had been in a long-term same-sex relationship at the time he held last year's historic trial in the case and therefore is presumed biased.

Chief U.S. District Judge James Ware rejected that argument earlier this year, but Proposition 8 lawyers have appealed his ruling to the 9th Circuit.

Credit must be giving to these normally-liberal judges for rejecting intense political pressure and not playing along to the farce.

Of course, the Prop 8 issue will end up in the federal supreme court eventually anyways.

More details as they come in...

Cain is Immoral? What About Newt Gingrich?

Saturday, November 12, 2011

For the first time in almost a month Romney is again polling higher than Cain on the RealClearPolitics Republican nomination chart.  "9-9-9" notwithstanding, Herman Cain has plummeted 3 full percentage points in the last 3 days leading many to suspect that his "flavor of the month" status may have just expired, as did Rick Perry's about a month earlier.

It doesn't take much thought to attribute Cain's beginning free-fall to the recent allegations that continue to surface that he has a history of sexually harassing women in his professional life.  Though the "victims" and very media reporters of these acts are certainly open to critical scrutiny, it seems clear that either at worst he is a rapist or at best he has acted inappropriately with co-worker women while away from his wife.  (For example, it has been pretty solidly established that he requested an aid to arrange a dinner meeting with a woman that he did not know but saw at a meeting in Egypt.  When his aids refused to do that, he contented himself with having dinner with all of his female aids together.)

Yes, conservative pundits remind us, Bill Clinton did much worse that Cain ever imagined doing, and still managed to be president for 8 years.  But they are ignoring one big important point: Democrats are much more willing to forgive liberal politicians of immoral conduct provided their politics are in the desired place.  An immoral scandal for a conservative politician, on the other hand, has repeatedly been the kiss of death to their political career.  It seems that conservatives feel that a person's personal life will have a big impact on their public decisions, and they want leaders who will support upstanding family values and shun corruption.  To liberal voters, character doesn't seem to matter too much, only what the politician will do for them.

Concurrent with Cain's political demise has been Newt Gingrich's slow rise in the polls.  Pundits have attributed his gains to regular solid performances in the debates over the last couple months, but they are also failing to mention a few important, game changing points.  Though he clearly has a lot of experience in politics and was a major conservative leader during the Clinton administration, there is a very good reason why Gingrich has never been able to get far in the several presidential campaigns that he has run during the last couple decades.  Gingrich too has a checkered moral past, one that is arguably more troubling than Cain's.

Here is a brief outline of the Gingrich's more established scandals:

  • He reportedly began dating his high school geometry teacher Jackie Battley when he was only 16.  They married when he was 19 and she was 26.

  • After having two children with Jackie, he began having an affair with another woman named Marianne Ginther.  He presented Jackie the terms for their divorce as she was in the hospital recovering from surgery for uterine cancer.  He married Marianne 6 months after the divorce was final and was reportedly very resistant to paying any kind of child support or alimony.

  • Newt's 2nd wife Marrianne reported him to be very much a spendthrift so she had to take over the finances.  Even still, they did not get out of the debt they faced when they married in 1981 until 1994.  In 1996 when he served as House Majority Leader, 84 ethics violations were filed against Gingrich for violating tax laws and lying to the House Ethics Subcommittee.  He ended up admitting to one of the accounts and was fined $300,000, becoming the first and only Speaker ever to be disciplined  for ethics violations.  He was eventually forced out of his Speaker position by Republican leaders who blamed him for the party's election losses in 1998.

  • Even as Gingrich criticized Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky (and spoke of family values to conservative Christian groups), Newt later revealed that he was having an affair with a much younger woman, Callista Bisek.  (He clarified to reporters that his actions were not hypocritical because he condemned Clinton for lying about his affair to a grand jury, not for actually having the affair.)  A few months after his 2nd wife Marrianne was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (reportedly on Mother's Day), he informed her that he would be divorcing her and marrying Callista.

And these are really just the well-established scandals.  There are additional reports of several more affairs and even an instance where President Clinton was able to use this information to muzzle his opposition during the 1998 mid-term elections.

I submit that a man who appears to be as amoral and heartless as Newt Gingrich will never get anywhere near the Republican nomination.  Whether you care or not about the sordid and unethical behavior he has admitted to doing (and additional things he has not), surely any reasonable conservative will recognize that he will only become another brief flavor of the month until the media brings his past skeletons out and the Republican party will again be shamed.  Why even bother entertaining the thought of his presidency?

Hilarious Demands from Occupy Wallstreet: Let's Do the Math!

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

By Stu Brguiere, reposted from glennbeck.com.

In the least surprising development in modern political history, Occupy Wall Street seems to be better at spending your money than they are maintaining hygiene. As evidence, I present their first demand:

Jobs for ALL – A Massive Public Works and Public Service Program

We demand a massive public works and public service program with direct government employment at prevailing (union) wages paid for by taxing the rich and corporations, by immediately ending all of America’s wars, and by ending all aid to authoritarian regimes to create 25 million new jobs to:

  • Expand education: cut class sizes and provide free university for all;
  • Expand healthcare and provide free healthcare for all (single payer system);
  • Build housing, guarantee decent housing for all;
  • Expand mass transit, provided for free;
  • Rebuild the infrastructure—bridges, flood control, roads;
  • Research and implement clean energy alternatives; and
  • Clean up the environment.
  • These jobs are to be open to all, regardless of documentation/immigration status or criminal record.

After sifting through the standard ultra-progressive nonsense, one can pull out some interesting numbers. To pay for 25 million jobs at the median union salary, you’re going to have to come up with about $1.194 trillion. That is about 25% more than the entire income tax currently brings in. It also would add more than 1/3rd to our already completely bloated budget.

To put it another way, the very first proposal from Occupy Wall Street would cost around 50% more than Medicare and Medicaid combined, which is currently our largest expense.

But they say it’s paid for…right? How? It’s simple!

The cost of the plan is $1.192 trillion.

First, get rid of those evil wars: savings $171 billion.

Then, end all “aid to authoritarian regimes.” I’m not exactly sure what Occupy Wall Street considers an “authoritarian regime” (with the exception of Israel…I’m pretty sure they don’t like Jews that much). But let’s be generous and say they think EVERY country we give aid to is authoritarian. Safe bet, right? That saves us a hefty $49 billion.

What’s left? Only $972.1 billion! That’s it! That’s still more than the entire income tax brings in every year…but don’t think about that too hard. How do we close that gap? With an unspecific plan of “taxing the rich and corporations.”

At this point, the idea becomes so ridiculously stupid, it’s impossible to seriously model. You would have to jack up the tax rates so high to bring in that kind of cash, the entire economy would shut down. (See Curve, Laffer.) But, let’s assume that a doubling of the tax rates would bring in twice as much money. It wouldn’t, but let’s do it anyway to humiliate them.

You have a choice—you can either:

a) Raise income tax rates from 35% to 114%.

b) Raise corporate income tax rates from 35% to 148%.

c) Raise both income tax AND corporate tax rates from 35% to 82%.

Of course, both A and B are literally impossible—but C is something that this crowd would seriously consider. They pine for the days when evil rich people dumped 90%+ of their cash to the federal government. It’s happened before—in the 1940’s and 1950’s–reaching a peak of 94% in 1944-45. For every year from 1936 to 1981 the top income tax rate was over 70%. Fabulous!

There’s just one problem—this only covers the salaries for these new jobs. It doesn’t cover the free college education for all. It doesn’t cover the free “single payer” health care for all. It doesn’t cover any of the raw materials for the “guaranteed decent housing for all” or “bridges, flood control, roads” etc. The point is, even if you assume that no additional people would go to college when it started being free, and no one would stop paying for their health care when it was available for free—you’d still have to raise both tax rates to about 114%. That means for every $1 you earned, you’d have to pay $1.14 in taxes.

It might just be time to occupy the calculator aisle at Staples.

Video: Egyptian Tanks Play 'Trample The Christians to Death'

Monday, October 10, 2011

Thanks to Obama's 'Arab Spring' the Egyptian government is conducting a mass genocide of Coptic Christians. You probably won't see it on Saudi-run Fox News (they are busy spreading lies about Mormons), but fact is radical Muslims have been carrying out mass murders of Christians, rapes of Christian women, and arson attacks of their houses and places of worship. At least 26 were killed in this latest military attack on peaceful Coptic protesters.

Al Jazeera, propagator of the Egyptian Islamic revolution and friend of Hillary Clinton, blamed the Christians for the clashes. They claimed the Christians attacked police. Videos prove otherwise.

Rick Perry Is Mitt Romney's 'Black Swan'

Tuesday, August 16, 2011

Conservatives Are Enamored With Everything They Hated About Mitt Romney

Act 1: The Republican establishment shuts out all viable candidates, and presents a crusty old liberal white man. Democrats present a sterling young liberal black man with enormous appeal. He is smart, patriotic, and promises a fundamental transformation to bring heaven on earth.

Act 2: The Republican establishment shuts out all viable candidates, again by appealing to religious bigotry, sexism, and racial stereotypes. They need another fall guy to prop up the Democrat hero, but how to do it? Take the best viable candidate and present the fall guy as a better version of him. For example, Romney built his state's economy; Perry built his state's economy better and during a depression. Romney stood up to big federal government; Perry threatened succession. Romney attacks Democrats ferociously; Perry attacks them maniacally.

But along with Romney's strengths come Romney's weaknesses in this black swan. Romney flip-flopped on some issues to become more conservative; Perry used to be Al Gore's campaign manager and supported Al Gore's radical liberalism. Romney has some worrisome aspects about his unorthodox faith; Perry believes the world is only 4,000 years old. Romney courted the Republican establishment out of necessity to get elected; Perry was coached by Karl Rove himself. Romney had an illegal alien working on his lawn; Perry tried building a super-highway to Mexico with billions in taxes. Romney sought to get everyone healthcare using a state mandate; Perry mandated every girl get a dangerous drug that turned out to be phony.

The liberal New York Times successfully convinces the voting audience that the Black Swan is actually dominant over the other candidates, that all of Romney's weaknesses are Perry's strengths. But what is actually the difference between the two men? Why is one celebrated and the other scorned? The newspapers, TV channels, and blogs inexplicably take him all the way to the final elections.

Act 3: The Black Swan turns out to be no match against the Democrat, despite the Democrat being wounded and having all odds against him. He comes back at the climax and the audience realizes he possessed all those heroic traits after all. Obama gets his full 8 years and we start a new show in 2016 with the roles switched by party.

CA Solving Illegal Immigration by Bad Economy

Friday, July 29, 2011

How long will it be until Mexico starts having an illegal immigrant problem?  Maybe we should hold up on that border fence idea a little longer...

It appears that all the anti-economy legislation being passed by the geniuses in Sacramento has had an interesting side-effect: Illegal imigrants are reportedly leaving California to return home to Mexico where their prospects are better.

There are fewer undocumented immigrants in California – and the Sacramento region – because many are now finding the American dream south of the border.

"It's now easier to buy homes on credit, find a job and access higher education in Mexico," Sacramento's Mexican consul general, Carlos González Gutiérrez, said Wednesday. "We have become a middle-class country."

Mexico's unemployment rate is now 4.9 percent, compared with 9.4 percent joblessness in the United States.

VIDEO: The Truth About the West Bank

Tuesday, July 26, 2011

Israel’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Danny Ayalon has launched a video titled “The Truth About the West Bank.” In the partially animated educational video, Ayalon relays historical facts relating to the Israeli Palestinian conflict, including explanations on where the terms “West Bank”, “occupied territories” and “67 Borders” derived from and how he says they are incorrectly applied.[...]

Based on the video’s positive reaction, Ayalon and his team are also reportedly planning to translate the video into more languages including Farsi. Ayalon said he now realizes that “there has been such a thirst for the truth,“ and not just among supporters of Israel but also among ”the undecided.”

Ayalon says the video’s success has prompted him to explore developing more diplomatic initiatives in the same area, perhaps using the same medium.

What Would a Mormon President Be Like?

Sunday, July 17, 2011

Several major media outlets on both sides of the political spectrum have been working overtime to try to tell Americans why they don’t want a Mormon president.  Yet the polls have been telling a different story: Romney currently is maintaining a 14 point lead over the closest Republican contender (Rasmussen).

But despite the dire forebodings from the left and right, what would a Mormon president really be like?  Let’s take a look at what Mormon politicians in Utah have done.  According to the neutral adherents.com research:
Utah was ranked as the #1 best state in which to raise children in by the Children's Right's Council, Provo, Utah as the #1 healthiest city in the country for women, and the Salt Lake City-Ogden metro area as the best place to live in North America.

Despite the fact that Utah ranks next-to-last in educational spending, Utah spends a much greater percentage of their budget on education with the results that Utah has:
  • the highest high school graduation rates in the nation
  • the 2nd highest percentage of high school graduates
  • the highest number of AP exams taken and passed per capita
  • ranked 7th in the nation academically, beating out states that spend nearly $10,000 more per student.

Utah also spends a significantly smaller portion of their budget on public welfare with the following results:
  • lowest child poverty rate in the nation
  • lowest number of teen pregnancies
  • lowest number of children born to single or unwed mothers
  • highest amount of money given by wealthy (over $200k) to charity

Hmmm... lowest spending, highest results.  What's so bad about a Mormon president again?

Proof Obama is Carter's Reincarnation

Saturday, July 16, 2011

32 years ago failed president Jimmy Carter gave his famous “Malaise Speech” telling Americans that they were just going to have to get used to ridiculously high unemployment and gas prices because there was no way for him to fix it any time soon.  America disagreed and booted the failed Democrat to bring in President Ronald Reagan.  Reagan got to work slashing tax rates and federal spending, ushering in a period of low unemployment and high wages and productivity.  (He also stood up to Communists and ended the cold war, something Carter was also powerless to do.)

Now, 4 presidents later, America once again has a clueless Democrat president who is trying to tell us that we are going to have to get used to high taxes, high food and gas prices, and mass unemployment.  His rhetoric is actually almost exactly the same as Carter's.

FOOL US ONCE, SHAME ON YOU DEMOCRATS.  FOOL US TWICE, WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER.  FOOL US THREE TIMES?!!!  I DON'T THINK SO.

Fox News Launches Jaw-Dropping Mockery Of Mitt Romney's 'Fruity' Mormonism

Friday, July 8, 2011

Phony "conservative" Fox News is firing up the ovens for Mormons. A frequent guest for Fox News, CNBC, and CNN aired a jaw-dropping segment that blasts "a little bit fruity" Romney for believing he will get a planet and live in bliss when Missouri turns into the garden of Eden. A local affiliate of Fox News in Memphis produced this ignorance (full video here):

Tennessee is a state that Mormons fled from because of state-sponsored genocide in the 1800s. Now you can see why!

Ferguson is a top promoter of Sarah Palin. This segment proves once again that Sarah Palin nuts only hate Mormons, no matter how much they claim the issue is flip-flops. It further proves that phony conservatives like Fox News are only interested in spreading mindless hate against real conservatives. They want Obama to win. More Fox News lies:

A Response To Time Magazine's Constitution-Shredding Headline

Friday, July 1, 2011

Time Magazine recently bashed the U.S. constitution with a cover that rivaled recently Newsweek's cover that bashed Mormons. Time portrayed the United State's most important legal document in shreds.

Times claims that the framers didn't know about the illegal war in Libya, Lady Gaga, or the debt ceiling, and thus they weren't capable to founding a set of laws to deal with new circumstances. "The Constitution does not protect our spirit of liberty; our spirit of liberty protects the Constitution. The Constitution serves the nation; the nation does not serve the Constitution." Um, doesn't the word constitution mean "health." A person serves their health don't they? A person's health gives them freedom and mobility doesn't it? And I'm pretty sure the founding fathers anticipated psychotic Presidents who spend us into oblivion and illegal wars for profit.

This is just part of the liberla propaganda push this July 4th season. It calls for an "evolving sense of civil and political rights." Typical social justice crap. And so with this photoshop above, I ask the question. Does Time still matter? Does the liberal media which seeks the destruction of anything fair and good in this world still plant itself in the hearts of Americans?

Liberal Students Stumped Over Afirmative Action in Sports

One of the biggest tragedies about our current educational system is the blatant lack of balance in the way ethics and political ideology is taught ion our schools and colleges.  This "pied piper" approach to viewpoints leaves most students unaware of the ridiculous inconsistencies among the hypocritical socio-political views that they have been spoon-fed by their liberal teachers and professors.  (This is why they are often referred to as "drones.") Case in point:

Many students support affirmative action, in an effort to promote diversity. They argue that race-based preferences “level the playing field” for disadvantaged minorities. However, these same students refused to sign our petition to apply such policies to the basketball team. At UC Riverside — where the video was filmed — 10/11 active players on the team are African American. Why not use affirmative action to promote diversity there?

Exec Admits Sesame Street Spreads Left-Wing Propaganda

Tuesday, May 31, 2011

While the theme song to the kids show Sesame Street encourages people to ask how to get there, one author just finished an expose exploring what’s really in the popular show: left-wing propaganda.

Sesame Street, with its loveable and fuzzy characters, is really a mouthpiece for the left’s agenda. That’s the conclusion of author Ben Shapiro, who after interviewing hundreds of industry insiders found that many of Hollywood’s most popular shows, including the popular kids program, are inundated with secret political messages. And he got top executives to admit it.

Shapiro’s new book, “Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV,” according to it’s description “is the story—told in their own words—of how television has been used over the past sixty years by Hollywood writers, producers, actors, and executives to promote their liberal ideals, to push the envelope on social and political issues, and to shape America in their own leftist image.”

For example, Shapiro quotes Mike Dann, one of Sesame Street’s founding executives, saying it “was not made for the sophisticated or the middle class.” Using the premise, the team worked in all sorts of messages, including Grover breaking bread with a hippie and Oscar the grouch who was supposed to address “conflicts arising from racial and ethnic diversity.” Dann also admitted he used the program in the wake of 9/11 to highlight peaceful alternatives to war.

“Sesame Street tried to tackle divorce, tackled ‘peaceful conflict resolution’ in the aftermath of 9/11 and had [gay actor] Neil Patrick Harris on the show playing the subtly-named ‘fairy shoeperson’,” writes Shapiro, according to THR.

The news may not be surprising considering the left‘s recent use of the show’s cuddly character, Elmo. The furry, red puppet has been used to trumpet free internet, lament job loss, and even plug Michelle Obama’s child nutrition bill.

But the left-wing messages aren‘t limited to children’s programs. Adults are inundated, too. The Independent explains:
The TV series Friends undermined family values; Sesame Street taught ethnic minorities about civil disobedience; Happy Days had a subtle anti-Vietnam subtext; and the 1980s cop show MacGyver tried to persuade pistol-packing Americans that guns are bad.
Happy Days? Friends? Believe it. Shapiro even got Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman to own up to intentionally hiring liberals and sending a strong message to conservatives in a popular episode:
Among Shapiro’s most revelatory interviewees is Marta Kauffman, the co-creator of Friends, who recalls how she hired a “bunch of liberals” to run the programme to “put out there what we believe”. In 1999, she admitted casting the actress sister of Newt Gingrich, the prominent Republican, to play a preacher at a lesbian wedding because she wanted to annoy conservatives.

“When we did the lesbian wedding, we knew there was going to be some flack,” said Kauffman. “I have to say, when we cast Candice Gingrich as the minister of that wedding, there was a bit of a ‘fu** you’ in it to the right-wing, directly.”
So how did Shapiro get these executives to say such things on record. According to him, he took advantage of liberal stereotypes.

“There was a certain amount of stereotyping on their part in granting the interview,” he told the Independent. “Many probably assumed that with a name like Shapiro and a Harvard Law credential, there was no need to Google me: I would have to be a leftist. In Hollywood, talking to a Jew with a Harvard Law baseball cap is like talking to someone wearing an Obama pin.”

“I was shocked by the openness of the Hollywood crowd when it came to admitting anti-conservative discrimination inside the industry,” he told the paper. “They weren’t ashamed of it. In fact, some were actually proud of it.”

If Supermarkets Were Run Like Public Schools

Thursday, May 5, 2011

Teachers unions and their political allies argue that market forces can't supply quality education. According to them, only our existing system—politicized and monopolistic—will do the trick. Yet Americans would find that approach ludicrous if applied to other vital goods or services.

Suppose that groceries were supplied in the same way as K-12 education. Residents of each county would pay taxes on their properties. Nearly half of those tax revenues would then be spent by government officials to build and operate supermarkets. Each family would be assigned to a particular supermarket according to its home address. And each family would get its weekly allotment of groceries—"for free"—from its neighborhood public supermarket.

No family would be permitted to get groceries from a public supermarket outside of its district. Fortunately, though, thanks to a Supreme Court decision, families would be free to shop at private supermarkets that charge directly for the groceries they offer. Private-supermarket families, however, would receive no reductions in their property taxes.

Liberal Media Turning on White House After Reporter Bullying Incident

Saturday, April 30, 2011

Last week’s dust-up between the press and the White House following the coverage of a fundraising event in San Francisco may be a turning point in the media’s relationship with the Obama White House.

The chronology of events is as follows:
  1. The President attends a Democratic Party fundraising event in San Francisco.
  2. Print Pool reporters (a small, pre-approved group of newspaper journalists that simultaneously feed their coverage to all outlets) are in attendance.
  3. A protest erupts and one of the pool reporters catches it on video. (Citizens in attendance recorded this as well)
  4. The reporter posts the video online.
  5. The White House bans the reporter from future pool coverage, threatens to ban affiliated reporters if the ban is exposed
  6. The ban is exposed.
  7. The White House denies banning reporter, denies threatening other reporters, and apparently reinstates the reporter.
The video that triggered this kerfuffle can be seen here:

That brief clip seems relatively harmless. The President is seen reacting calmly to a short protest message delivered in harmonious fashion. So why did the White House take exception to this clip being posted and expel or threaten expulsion of the Chronicle’s Carla Marinucci? The answer remains foggy, and the Chronicle appears to be dug in on the issue and is defending their actions as well as questioning the actions and motives of the White House.

San Francisco Chronicle editor Ward Bushee called out the White House for not telling the truth;
Sadly, we expected the White House to respond in this manner based on our experiences yesterday. It is not a truthful response. It follows a day of off-the-record exchanges with key people in the White House communications office who told us they would remove our reporter, then threatened retaliation to Chronicle and Hearst reporters if we reported on the ban, and then recanted to say our reporter might not be removed after all.
The Chronicle’s report is accurate.

If the White House has indeed decided not to ban our reporter, we would like an on-the-record notice that she will remain the San Francisco print pool reporter.
But the story does not end with the statement from the editor. Chronicle publisher Phil Bronstein, seeing the obvious abuse of power here, weighed in;
The President and his staffers deftly used social media like Twitter and Facebook in his election campaign and continue to extol the virtues and value. Except, apparently, when it comes to the press.

So what’s up with the White House? We can’t say because neither Press Secretary Jay Carney nor anyone from his staff would speak on the record.

Other sources confirmed that Carla was vanquished, including Chronicle editor Ward Bushee, who said he was “informed that Carla was removed as a pool reporter.” Which shouldn‘t be a secret in any case because it’s a fact that affects the newsgathering of our largest regional paper (and sfgate)and how local citizens get their information.

What’s worse: more than a few journalists familiar with this story are aware of some implied threats from the White House of additional and wider punishment if Carla’s spanking became public. Really? That’s a heavy hand usually reserved for places other than the land of the free.
But bravery is a challenge, in particular for White House correspondents, most of whom are seasoned and capable journalists. They live a little bit in a gilded cage where they have access to the most powerful man in the world but must obey the rules whether they make sense or not.
CBS News reporter, Mark Knoller, has publicly protested the limited press access to Obama fundraisers, calling the policy “inconsistent.“ ”It’s no way to do business,” wrote Politico’s Julie Mason, “especially [for] a candidate who prides himself on transparency.”

2009 blog by the White House Director of New Media states that “President Obama is committed to making his administration the most open and transparent in history.”
Not last week.
Bronstein closes his piece by leaving some wiggle room for the White House;
Late today, there were hints that the White House might be backing off the Carla Fatwa.
Barack Obama sold himself successfully as a fresh wind for the 21st century. In important matters of communication, technology, openness and the press, it’s not too late for him to demonstrate that.

Coca-Cola Pressured Law Firm Out Of DOMA Defense

Tuesday, April 26, 2011

(tpmdc.com) "When the Atlanta-based law firm King & Spalding announced on April 18 that it would represent the Republican-controlled House of Representatives and defend the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act, it apparently didn't realize what a mess it had made for itself."...

In the intervening week, a series of public and behind-the-scenes developments made it clear that the firm would suffer recriminations for defending what many of its top clients and future recruits -- not to mention gay rights advocates -- consider to be an anti-gay law.

Sources with knowledge of the backlash confirm that one of King & Spalding's top clients, Coca Cola, also based in Atlanta, directly intervened to press the firm to extricate itself from the case.

A Coca Cola spokesman declined to comment on or off the record for this story, but pointed TPM to the company's long public history of support for equality and diversity.

Who else pressured them out of the case?? Coca-Cola boasts about their "commitment to diversity" for gay "rights":

For five consecutive years, we have received a top rating of 100% from the human rights campaign for our performance regarding workplace policies for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender associates. The HRC's Corporate Equality Index measures the extent to which employers promote workplace fairness for their GLBT employees, measuring factors like non-discrimination policies, diversity training and benefits.

Coca-Cola doesn't mind that their law firm represent Gitmo terrorist suspects, pro bono! So now Coke thinks Islamic terrorism is morally acceptable, but not traditional marriage!!

VIDEO: Why the Media is So Liberal

Saturday, April 23, 2011

On Friday night, the Fox News Channel debuted a Hannity special, ‘Behind the Bias: The History of Liberal Media.’ The promo declared: “Double standards? Groundless attacks? Blatant bias? Sean calls out the mainstream media! Don’t miss Behind the Bias: The History of Liberal Media.”
The Media Research Center made available to Fox News Channel producers video clips from our archive going back more than 20 years and they are scattered throughout the hour – as are soundbites from MRC President Brent Bozell.
Here is the opening segment:

This segment focuses on concerns about the coverage of The New York Times:

This third segment is called, “The Invisible Narrative”:

Prices at LDS canneries show inflation for food up between 11 and 49%

Friday, April 22, 2011

Price inceases on April 4th at the LDS canneries show inflation up between 11 and 49% for many basic food staples.  These rise in prices are a strong barometer for the overall economy since the LDS facilities are usually the last to raise prices for their communities, which provides food in bulk that they can collect through their vast networking operations.

According to the new price list from April 4th, many food staples have increased by more than 20% since the last price list came out just 3 months ago on January 3rd.

Beans. Black 13.69%
Beans, Pinto 12.13%
Beans, White 11.88%
Milk, Non Fat Dry 25.00%
Rice 38.99%
Sugar 33.81%
Wheat, Red/White 44.54%
Apple Slices 24.53%
Carrots 21.31%
Macaroni 40.25%
Oats, Quick 48.90%
Oats, Regular 49.19%
Onions 21.60%
Potato Flakes 33.33%
Spaghetti 38.99%
Beans, Refried 27.72%
Cocoa Mix 40.69%
Flour 29.70%
Fruit Drink Mix 26.20%

LDS churches and organizations have long been at the forefront in preparedness for families and communities.  As one of the wealthiest corporations in the world, their network of companies and church affiliations allow them access to cheaper food sources, and the capacity to store them for long periods of time through their canning facilities.

As the government and Federal Reserve continues to tell the American people that inflation is low, and contained by their monetary policies, the real barometer of inflation in the economy comes from the grocers, markets, and institutions that deal with food sales and production, and must monitor prices daily as commodities continue to climb.

The LDS's raising food prices at their canneries by 11 to 49% in just three months should be a serious wakeup call to all Americans on the true inflationary conditions that exist in our economy, and that we need to constantly look outside government reports for the true data affecting our spending and finances.

CA Senate Passes Bill Mandating Gay History in Public Schools

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Are they crazy?!!  California schools are FAILING their students and they want to spend more time ON GAY HISTORY?!!!
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The state Senate has approved legislation that would require California’s public schools to include gay history in social studies lessons.

Supporters say the move is needed to counter anti-gay stereotypes and beliefs that make gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender children vulnerable to bullying and suicide.

Opponents said it would burden an already crowded curriculum and expose students to a subject that some parents find objectionable.

The bill, sponsored by Democratic Sen. Mark Leno of San Francisco, passed Thursday on a 23-14 vote. The measure now goes to the Assembly.

It leaves it up to local school districts to decide what to include in the lessons and at what grade students would receive them.

Hypocrite Obama Racially Profiles Libyans In America

Tuesday, April 5, 2011

FBI questions Libyans in America

(online.wsj.com) "The Federal Bureau of Investigation has begun questioning Libyans living in the U.S., part of an effort to identify any Libyan-backed spies or terrorists, and collect any information that might help allied military operations.

The move reflects concerns among U.S. officials—in the wake of an allied bombing campaign that established a no-fly zone over Libya to prevent the massacre of antigovernment rebels—that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi might try to orchestrate revenge attacks against U.S. citizens.

U.S. counterterrorism officials believe that the threat of Libyan-backed terrorism is slightly higher for Europe than for the U.S. Officials on both sides of the Atlantic are searching for signs of nascent terror plots directed or encouraged from Tripoli."
You may recall Obama called police "stupid" for allegedly racially profiling a black man who resisted arrest. He said this "disproportionate" behavior against Blacks and Latinos is wrong. So which is it? Racial profiling or no?

Apple Pulls Ex-Gay Therapy App From Exodus International

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Apple may consider themselves very open to the "alternative" lifestyle, but they have demonstrated once again that they will not tolerate any "alternative to the alternative lifestyle."

Exodus International is a 35-year-old organization with the stated purpose of helping individuals with same-sex attraction reconcile these proclivities  with their belief in Christianity and a pro-creative, gender-uniting plan of God.  They also spend a considerable amount of effort on educating the general public (especially more conservative Christian groups) on being more comfortable around people who experience same-sex attraction, and how it can be mitigated through the positive application of Christian doctrine.

Exodus international provides educational materials, support groups, social media, conferences and events to individuals, families and the general public. The "Exodus International Iphone App" was part of this effort until Apple pulled the app, claiming that it violated their rule of "not being offensive to large groups of people."  It doesn't take much intelligence to see the hypocrisy of this action.

A quick search on itunes reveals the following apps that are apparently, "not offensive to large groups of people":

Sexy Touch Game
iGrow Male Enhancement
Gay Lover
Gay Karmasutra Sex Positions
PRIDE (The App for Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgender People)
BoyAhoy Gay Chat
Recon: Gay Fetich Profiler
Visual Gay Sex Tutor

Remember, despite what some people in the media wold like to claim, a majority of people do not want same-sex marriage, and surely a much larger percentage would like to stay as far away from a "Visual Gay Sex Tutor" as possible.  But no one has called for its removal.  They just stay away.  Is it not possible that the people offended by a Christian group claiming that God can help them with their unwanted same-gender attraction can also just stay away?

No, of course not.  Because this isn't about offense; it's about social control.  Promoters of the "gay lifestyle" need us all to believe that there is no alternative, that they are victims of a society that won't let them be the way they "just are."  People like my friend Joshua pose the biggest threat to them, and therefore must be ridiculed and even litigated into silence.

The same thing happened in December when Apple pulled an app supporting "Traditional Marriage."

Apple is certainly not an "open" platform, but there are always alternatives.

Judge Imposes Sharia Law in America

Monday, March 21, 2011

According to a document on the website Jihad Watch, Circuit Court Judge Richard A. Nielsen ordered earlier this month that a civil  dispute between current and former leaders of a local mosque over who controls funds awarded during a 2008 eminent domain proceeding be decided under “Ecclesiastical Islamic Law.” Below is a copy of the relevant section:

Tom Tillison over at Red State explains the case via a post from Brigitte Gabriel:
The current mosque leaders want the case decided according to secular, Florida civil law, and their attorney has been vigorously arguing the case accordingly.
The former trustees of the mosque want the case decided according to sharia law.
Here’s the kicker.
The judge recently ruled “This case will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic law,” (sharia law), “pursuant to the Qur’an.” [Emphasis hers]
Now it’s not unusual for a dispute to arise within a religious institution and for a court to order a mediation or arbitration, in order to resolve this without the court having to render its own judgment.
But what makes this case unusual, and highly troubling, is that a group of Muslim leaders—the CURRENT mosque leaders—who do NOT want to be subject to sharia law, are being compelled to do so by an American judge!
“In effect, due process in an American court is being denied and Sharia law is being imposed on an unwilling participant,” Tillison writes. “Right here in Florida.”

Libya Kicks Out Western Oil... Just As George Soros Planned?

Thursday, March 17, 2011

UPDATE: Obama departed to Brazil where he personally strengthens Soros' oil interests there.

Out with Western oil, in with Russian and Chinese oil. Is it just coincidence that George Soros sold his Western oil stock and bought stock in Russia and Chinese oil companies, about three months ago?

Starting in 2009, George Soros invested heavily in Western oil companies in Libya. His investments brought enormous returns, and then at the end of 2010 he mysteriously sold them, and bought stock in Russian and Venezuelan oil.

Each Western company saw stock prices skyrocket over the last six months: Suncore Energy up 46%, Petroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras up 15%, Occidental Petroleum up 36%, Marathon Oil Corp. up 61%, Conoco Phillips up 42%, Halliburton up 67%, Hess Corp up 57%.

Soros somehow knew to reduce Suncore stocks on New Years eve. Soros dumped almost all his holdings. Likewise, Soros dumped almost all of Halliburton on New Years eve. Same for Hess. Soros dumped almost all of Occidental at the end of September, along with most of Conoco Phillips. He dumped much of Marathon in June. Soros actually increased PBR but that might have more to do with its huge oil bock buy in Africa. Each company began to tumble over these last few days because of the bloody revolution in Libya.

Soros switched much of that over to Russia and Venezuela oil giant Harvest National Resources, which skyrocketed right after his initial September 2010 buy.

Last March, Soros invested in airport screeners. How did he know to do that? Insider info! But how did he know what would go down across the Middle East?

Soros was behind the Egyptian uprising. But it is crucial for him that Gaddafi must stay in power! Otherwise his Russian investments might lose out. That explains why Obama dittered on something as simple as a no-fly zone for 31 days!

Update: Mercury News finds a gay Mormon... actually turns out to be prominant gay artist!

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

Well he's not actually Mormon. She lied about that in the title.

Former Bay Area reporter Michelle Beaver claimed Mormons perform electro-shock therapy on gay Mormons, in a plea to anti-Mormon sites for dirt. In her email she said she is preparing a book about Mormons and Proposition 8:

My name is Michelle Beaver and I'm a freelance reporter working on an in-depth article for the Bay Area News Group... The article is about Mormon treatment of gays, from the affects of reparative therapy, to the feelings of Bay Area gay people and ex-Mormons regarding Mormon involvement in Prop 8.... I am also writing a book with the working title, "Humble Pious: Mormon Humility Versus Mormon Hostility in the Age of Gay Rights."

In regards to the article, I would very much appreciate if you could lead me to anyone in the Bay Area who is or used to be a gay Mormon. I have been finding some fantastic information for my article, but I still have not found a gay Mormon who lives in the Bay Area or who used to live in the Bay Area. I really need this missing puzzle piece....

1. As you may know, researchers in the psychology department of Brigham Young University in the 1970s used to perform ammonia and shock therapy on gay people, and a Mormon-affiliated group called Evergreen took up the cause later and performed similar "treatment" until at least 2002.

Michelle Beaver couldn't find any victims for her article, so it turned out to be just propaganda for top anti-Mormon websites.

But in the title of this latest Bay Area News Group article she claims she found "Mormon voices" from victims of this alleged eletro-shock therapy. All she found was a Berkeley graduate who left the church long ago. Kerry Rutz claims electroshock therapy did occur and that he was "in mortal danger."

Actually, he didn't see any electroshock therapy himself, and the only conflict he gives was between him and his brother.... but they can blame the church anyway. Rutz claims electro-shock therapy might even still be going on in the Mormon church.

Their intent behind this treatment can only be compared to the motives behind experiments conducted on concentration camp victims during World War II; like the fascist regimes which supported those "experiments" in Germany and China, the Mormon church's ... maltreatment of gay and lesbian Americans amounts to barbaric criminality.

Zero evidence for this wacky conspiracy theory. Zero evidence that the church wronged him in any way. Just some dispute within his family because he was gay. Read the entire interview; he sounds like a very bitter man.

Actually it turns out Kerry Rutz is a prominent artist in San Francisco's gay community (if this is indeed the same Kerry Rutz). Gee, why didn't Beaver mention that?? Rutz says his art shows "a jaded resignation to the social, political, and personal frustrations of life and continued efforts to use this resignation to facilitate positive change." Positive change? Comparing Mormons to Nazis, wacky conspiracy theories, and hoping that gays' vitriolic hatred against Mormons "doesn't change"... is that positive change? Check out his Murder Series... interesting stuff.

Michelle Beaver continues her bigoted blitz at the Mercury News. She starts with another lie about the Mormon Church: "Mormons dispute charges they were the main impetus behind Proposition 8's passage."

This time Beaver did find a real Mormon, famous Glenn Beck critic Robert A. Rees. He admits "One of the unfortunate results of Proposition 8 is that it tended to divide some LDS congregations, in some cases pitting member against member." Well, I guess that's true. Beaver found some other alleged Mormons, who want to remain anonymous, who don't agree with Proposition 8.

She states that Mormons "did donate a lot of time, money and organizational expertise," but fails to notice that opponents of Proposition 8 vastly outspent the proponents. Her language becomes funeral as she claims the "church's stance on Proposition 8 created casualties."

Michigan Democrats Charged in Forging Fake Tea Party Election Documents

Two Michigan Democrats were charged Wednesday with nine felonies for allegedly forging paperwork in their attempts to get fake Tea Party candidates on last November’s electoral ballot.  Michigan was one of several states where “fake” tea party candidates were running for office, propped up by liberals attempting to divide the conservative vote.

The sheriff says 23 statewide races had questionable Tea Party candidates on the ballot and the investigation may go beyond Oakland County.  “It was learned that a scheme was developed by a party leader in Lansing to place on the ballot people pretending to be Tea Party activists and that this was going to be a statewide effort,” Bouchard said.
John Tramontana, a spokesperson for the state Democratic Party, told FOX 2 that this was not a state party issue and it’s not our place to comment.
“What we have here is illegal. It’s forgery. It’s fraud. It’s perjury. It’s those things. Then you cross a different line,” said Bouchard.
