Student Ordered to Alter Religious Views on Homosexuality or be Expelled

UPDATE: Courts uphold student's expulsion from tax-funded university for religious beliefs

This amazing tale of liberal academia's anti-Christian discrimination and bigotry comes from Augusta State University in Georgia.

A graduate student in Georgia is suing her university after she was told she must undergo a remediation program due to her beliefs on homosexuality and transgendered persons.

The student, Jennifer Keeton, 24, has been pursuing a master's degree in school counseling at Augusta State University since 2009, but school officials have informed her that she'll be dismissed from the program unless she alters her "central religious beliefs on human nature and conduct," according to a civil complaint filed last week.

"[Augusta State University] faculty have promised to expel Miss Keeton from the graduate Counselor Education Program not because of poor academic showing or demonstrated deficiencies in clinical performance, but simply because she has communicated both inside and outside the classroom that she holds to Christian ethical convictions on matters of human sexuality and gender identity," the 43-page lawsuit reads.

Keeton, according to the lawsuit, was informed by school officials in late May that she would be asked to take part in a remediation plan due to faculty concerns regarding her beliefs pertaining to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues.

"The faculty identifies Miss Keeton's views as indicative of her improper professional disposition to persons of such populations," the lawsuit reads.

Jerry Brown Supporter Violently Attacks Videographer At CNA Rally

Saturday, July 17, 2010

This wasn't a Tea Party rally, it was the California Nurses Association union. That's why there is zero mention in the news. The pro-Socialist healthcare group also assailed Meg Whitman's home and spread rumors about Meg Whitman attacking an employee today.

I am Governor Jerry Brown
My aura smiles
And never frowns
Soon I will be president…

DIE on organic poison gas
Serpent's egg's already hatched
You will croak, you little clown

Judge legislates: Broadcasters may use F- Word while children likely are watching

FCC indecency rule struck down by appeals court

LA Times- "The ruling is a major victory for the broadcast TV networks, which jointly sued the Federal Communications Commission in 2006....

The court said that policy on so-called fleeting expletives was "unconstitutionally vague" and created a "chilling effect" on the programming that broadcasters chose to air. The court echoed complaints from network executives that the FCC's standards were nearly impossible to gauge, noting that the agency allowed the airing of the f-word and s-word in broadcasts of the World War II movie "Saving Private Ryan" but not in the PBS miniseries "The Blues."...

Fox Broadcasting Co., which was the lead plaintiff on the case, cheered the ruling."
Yes, it's "chilling" when liberals don't get to scream 'F---' on TV during shows that little kids watch. Thank goodness this perverted liberal judge (U.S. 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals) is here to legislate from the bench so we dummy voters can get set straight. All in the name of ratings for General Electric and Disney!

The ruling doesn't say anything restricting during shows that children commonly watch, between 6am and 8pm. The reasoning is just ridiculous. It's hard to guage the FCC standards?? Don't use the F-word! Is that so hard? With this reasoning, there should be no difference between someone in a bathing suit and flat out nudity. Soon liberals will get to dance around naked on TV in shows that little kids watch. This will satisfy every radical liberals dream!

Shouldn't Prop 8 Should Be Supported By Court Ruling Against DOMA?

Thursday, July 8, 2010

Why are "gay marriage" proponents celebrating? In yet another judicial attack on marriage, the federal courts have overthrown DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act), saying a federal ban on gay marriage doesn't allow states their right to define marriage.

But doesn't this mean that states can define marriage excluding gay couples? Since now it's up to the states? In all likelihood the tyrannical courts will go on to legislate that it's up to states to define marriage- as long as it includes gays and any other couple that liberals want included.

The ridiculousness of the situation is increasing. Liberals are now talking about this ruling as a foreshadow for Proposition 8, California's constitutional ban on "gay marriage." How? Am I missing something here?

Gay marriage has never been supported by popular vote.

Federal Judge Strikes Down DOMA

Yet another federal judge has decided that his liberal opinion is more important that the democratic rule of the people, or even a law passed by Congress. Nevermind that marriage was culturally defined thousands of years ago as a man and wife with the presumption of children on the way if they're able. No Hollywood and liberal Democrats want marriage for gay relationships to make them feel better about themselves and by golly, they'll do anything to get it.

In a ruling today, Federal District Court Judge Joseph Tauro struck down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), ruling that DOMA discriminates against gays and lesbians and infringes on the rights of states to define marriage.

The ruling is available here.

The National Organization for Marriage released the following statement:

NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MARRIAGE DECRIES
BOSTON FEDERAL JUDGE’S DECISION
STRIKING DOWN THE DEFENSE OF MARRIAGE ACT

“A Boston judge has no moral right to decide the marriage question for the people of the U.S.”

– Brian Brown, President, National Organization for Marriage

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Organization for Marriage (NOM) released the following statements today in response to a federal judge in Boston ruling the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) unconstitutional.

“Under the guidance of Elena Kagan’s brief that she filed when she was Solicitor General, Obama’s justice department deliberately sabotaged this case,” charged Brian Brown, President of NOM, referring to the Justice Department’s brief which described DOMA as discriminatory. Despite the explicit language in DOMA that the law was designed to protect children’s right to their mothers and fathers, the judge disavowed that DOMA has anything to do with responsible procreation. “With only Obama to defend DOMA, this federal judge has taken the extraordinary step of overturning a law passed by huge bipartisan majorities and signed into law by Pres. Clinton in 1996. A single federal judge in Boston has no moral right to decide the definition of marriage for the people of the United States,” Brown continued.

"Does this federal judge want to start another culture war?” asked Maggie Gallagher, Chairman of NOM. “Does he really want another Roe. v. Wade? The simple fact is that the right of the federal government to define marriage for the purposes of its federal law and federal territories has been clear since the late 19th century, when Congress banned polygamy. Only an incompetent defense could have lost this case. We expect to win in a higher court.”

Romney: Obama has been duped by Russia to disarm America

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

Excellent article by Mitt Romney:

washington post- "Given President Obama's glaring domestic policy missteps, it is understandable that the public has largely been blinded to his foreign policy failings. In fact, these may have been even more damaging to America's future. He fought to reinstate Honduras's pro-Chávez president while stalling Colombia's favored-trade status. He castigated Israel at the United Nations but was silent about Hamas having launched 7,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip. His policy of "engagement" with rogue nations has been met with North Korean nuclear tests, missile launches and the sinking of a South Korean naval vessel, while Iran has accelerated its nuclear program, funded terrorists and armed Hezbollah with long-range missiles. He acceded to Russia's No. 1 foreign policy objective, the abandonment of our Europe-based missile defense program, and obtained nothing whatsoever in return.

Despite all of this, the president's New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New-START) with Russia could be his worst foreign policy mistake yet....

As drafted, it lets Russia escape the limit on its number of strategic nuclear warheads. Loopholes and lapses -- presumably carefully crafted by Moscow -- provide a path to entirely avoid the advertised warhead-reduction targets.... Under New START, the United States must drastically reduce our number of launchers but Russia will not -- it already has fewer launchers than the treaty limits. Put another way: We give, Russia gets....

By all indications, the Obama administration has been badly out-negotiated. Perhaps the president's eagerness for global disarmament led his team to accede to Russia's demands, or perhaps it led to a document that was less than carefully drafted.

No wonder Russia was bending over backwards to be friendly to Obama's push to "restart relations". Whilst an unprecedented Russian spy ring was discovered. This is what an improved foreign image looks like!
infozine.com- "Eric Edelman, former undersecretary of defense for policy, also expressed concern that the U.S. would be cutting more weapons launchers than Russia.

Each country is limited to 1,550 deployed strategic warheads, 800 deployed and non-deployed weapons launchers and a combined 700 deployed intercontinental ballistic missiles, submarine-launched missiles and heavy bombers.

Edelman said this policy puts the U.S. at a disadvantage because Russia already has a smaller stock of weapons launchers. That's because its weapons system is aging and not being replaced. By contrast the U.S. would have to take some of its more modern weapons systems out of service.

"A treaty that requires no elimination of nuclear structure by Russia and forcing the U.S. to reduce is perhaps not in the U.S. national interest, given the global U.S. responsibilities to providing extended deterrents to allies," Edelmen said.

But Morton Halperin, senior adviser to the Open Society Institute, said there is nothing in the treaty to prevent the U.S. from building new missile defense launchers and the constraint would be of "no significance."

Halperin said START will "contribute to strategic stability and reduce the risk of unintended or accidental use of nuclear weapons by either nation."

Why Do Commercials Portray White Guys As Stupid?

Monday, July 5, 2010

A bunch of idiot Vikings who can't do anything right. Is it just coincidence that they are all white and all male? Look at some other recent commercials:

Staples give two examples:

Walmart puts him in a clown outfit:

Remember all those ridiculous home security system commercials?

What happens when someone of a different color enters the commercial?

Same goes with sitcoms. "Everybody Loves Raymond" or "King of Queens" or "It's always sunny in Philadelphia"... It doesn't go for all TV of course, but this trend in the media to bash white men is getting out of hand.

Not Funny: Pro-Lifers Heckle Jimmy Kimmel After ABC's Violent Thuggery Against Children

Friday, July 2, 2010

So here's what happened. A pro-life group called Face the Truth held a picket outside the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. ABC's Jimmy Kimbel shows up with his crew and wants to do some stunt for the show. The prolifers refused to move, so ABC's crew pointed hot spotlights on the under 18 teenagers, burning them. video here

They still didn't move, so ABC called the police and had them arrested. (This is California we are talking about, the police work for big corporations, not the people.) The police didn't touch the film crew who assaulted the peaceful protesters, nor did they bring forth any charges in the wrongful arrests.

Outraged by the snobbery of these liberal big-shot elitists and the violence against children from this Disney-owned media, the group turned their protest on funny-man Kimbel. Here's the scene outside his studios:

Some got in and heckled Kimbel as he interviewed Dakota Fanning. The video was edited out as security took them out:
