Top LGBT Advocate Has Medical License Suspended After Botched Abortion

Friday, September 3, 2010

Nicola Riley had her license suspended after a botched abortion job left a teenager in the hospital and piles of dead late-term fetuses were discovered in the freezer where she performed the abortion.

Riley is featured on Utah Pride Center's website as treating the LGBT "patient population." She is in their "listing of organizations that enhance, support, and assist the GLBT community." Why this prestige?

Riley received a 2006 award from Transgender Education Advocates of Utah for her willingness to treat transgender patients, the only practice in Utah to accept new patients. What does this tell you about the gay community? Pretty shady.

The Board of Physicians said Riley "poses a threat to her patients' safety and well-being and thereby represents a danger to the public."
