Memorial Day Tribute 2010

Monday, May 31, 2010

Memorial Day was created some time during the Civil War by women who went and decorated the graves of the newly fallen soldiers who gave their lives that Freedom would prevail for all people throughout the United States. After World War I, the holiday was extended to commemorate our fallen soldiers from all wars that fought that Freedom would prevail throughout the world.

"All gave some. Some gave all.
They gave all of their tomorrows
So that we could have today."

* It is the veteran, not the preacher, who has given you freedom of religion.
* It is the veteran, not the reporter, who has given you freedom of the press.
* It is the veteran, not the poet, who has given you freedom of speech.
* It is the veteran, not the protester, who has given you freedom to assemble.
* It is the veteran, not the lawyer, who has given you the right to a fair trial.
* It is the veteran, not the politician, who has given you the right to vote.
* It is the veteran, who salutes the Flag, who serves under the Flag, whose coffin is draped by the Flag.

Freddie Mac Outsources Servicing To India, Fresh Financial Meltdown Begins

Sunday, May 30, 2010

For months, top mortgage servicers have been negotiating with Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae for servicing rights to thousands of subprime and delinquent loans. In February, when Obama rolled out his new program with all the fanfare to keep people in their homes, the pilot program sent 5,000 loans to Ocwen Financial.

Problem. Ocwen outsources 80% of their work force to India and South America. It is named one of America's top 100 outsourcing companies. Just one more case of the federal stimulus going overseas, depressing America and redistributing our wealth to third world countries.

Oh, but it gets much worse!!

Two mortgage servicers have an 80% retention rate for HAMP trial period loans: Homeq and Ocwen. Homeq was counting on getting those 5,000 loans for the pilot program. They have a very high rating and their workforce is entirely in the United States. The other servicers are around a 20% rating and outsource much of their work.

To secure their monopoly on the federal financial stimulus and on Freddie/Fannie, so to speak, Ocwen bought Homeq this week. Homeq was owned by a British bank Barcalays. But because of the BCR laws from Congress, which stipulates that about 12 times as much capital must be behind loans serviced by foreign companies as American companies, Homeq was no longer profitable. Ocwen requires billions less capital to operate because their home is Florida. They outsource their workforce to India, however, while Homeq was entirely in the USA! The Federal Government's laws, in an effort to save jobs and prevent losses, has just caused the very thing they were trying to prevent!

Now thousands more Americans will be out of work. About 128,000 loans serviced by Homeq will likely go to India. Fannie/Freddie's many other loans, besides the 5,000 already outsourced, will eventually go to India. The poor quality of service from third world country servicers will cause more shoddy loans. And America's wealth goes to third world countries.

Don't expect to get this kind of explanation in the media.

National Guard in Arizona Will not Enforce Immigration Law, Carry Weapons

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

Much to the joy of the Mexican government, 1200 national guardsmen sent by Obama to the Arizona border will not be allowed to enforce immigration law or even carry weapons. Why in the world are they there then? Obama is putting our armed forces in harm's way (remember how there are armed Mexican drug gangs roaming the countryside, killing Americans?) to support his radical ideology.

The Liberal Mind Explained by a Former Liberal

In this video former liberal-Democrat-turned-staunch-conservative Evan Sayet brilliantly explains why liberals believe what they do: that America, Israel, Christianity, talk radio and business success are bad and totalitarian regimes, illegal immigration, sexual promiscuity, high taxes and moral ambiguity are good. I have never heard these puzzling positions so logically and clearly explained before.

Be sure to pass this video on to anyone you think may benefit from it. I know I will.

Thanks, Knowledge Czar.

Oklahoma Loses Miss America For Supporting Immigration Law

Monday, May 17, 2010

As you well remember last year, Miss California lost because she supported traditional marriage. Apparently Donald Trump considers the latest political controversy and gives the crown to the most liberal contestant.

The winning contestant is Arab-American Miss Michigan Rima Fakih, whose family reportedly has ties to the Hezbollah terror organization.

Hypocrisy: Prop-8 Opponents Refuse To Hand Over Internal Communications

Monday, May 10, 2010

The radical federal Judge Vaughan Walker is hearing closing arguments for the effort to over-turn voter approved Proposition 8, an effort for which he clearly supports. Gay groups refused to turn over documents on internal communications to the court. Why? What do they have to hide?

The Mormon church has received the full blunt of the gay wrath, with death threats very recently made by the San Francisco Chronicle.

As you may recall, the church immediately responded to requests from the co-counsel in the California federal case, San Francisco's tax-paid City Attorney. They sent over 1,500 copies of internal communications on the case. The co-counsel now refuses to do this themselves. Perhaps they need more time shredding their files.

The files obtained by the city of San Francisco were promptly used against the church in the bigotted propaganda film 8: The Mormon Proposition. Classy.

San Francisco Chronicle Prays For Violent Death Of 'Wicked old Mormons'

Saturday, May 8, 2010

Just more death threats from the tolerant, non-ignorant gay liberal crowd, plus an exciting new documentary! Liberal blanket hatred for religion and old people rolled into one violent death wish.

The end of the wicked old Mormons

This is the good news: many of the world's most powerful, hurtful, wretched old men will soon be dead.

...I might very much be in the mood to not really mind at all if a whole slew of these nefarious creatures of sociospiritual corrosion were to, say, spontaneously combust, or be struck by lightning, or perhaps accidentally fall into a giant, roiling vat of Astroglide and turpentine and a million duplicitous prayers. Whoops! Sorry, Monsignor!

...But perhaps none of these fine and soulless charlatans appears as noticeably miserable, as lost, as openly insulting to the human spirit as the wretched leaders of the Mormon Church in Utah... Because here we find a very bizarre cluster of powerful, pale, sickly old men who are now sliding back into view thanks to a new documentary, "8: The Mormon Proposition," the trailer for which is available for your deep sighing and open cringing right now.

...just how ruthlessly, how hatefully the Church of Latter Day Homophobes worked to terrify and intimidate its own uninformed followers into funding -- to the tune of nearly $18 million -- one of the most detestable pieces of legislation in California's history, not to mention the church's own "secretive, decades-long crusade against gay rights."... I have only stared into the sallow faces of these pitiable men, these "prophets" of fear and intolerance, for a few short moments. Then again, with faces like that, you don't need much.

...But one glance at these frightened and sickly old men of the Mormon Church, and you see it -- or rather, you don't see it.... These are the eyes of some of the most pained, deadened souls in the world. There is no spark. There is no hint of life. There appears to be only sadness and suffering, fear and dystopia, a disturbing sense that they all wish the world would just stop being so strange and perverted so they could just enjoy their watery gin, itchy sweaters, and loveless marriages in peace.

Here is where I admit a note of naïveté. Because I simply do not understand how any devotee of any belief system, organized religion, or grand Utah cult whatsoever could possibly follow leaders with such a flagrantly joyless and agonizing sense of modern existence. How can you see those eyes, those depleted and slumped bodies, say yes, oh dear God yes, that is my prophet?

But let's leave that question floating in the ether for now. It is, after all, far too easy to pinch and kick the bizarre Mormon Church; to say it's ripe for satire and parody is to say a Catholic schoolgirl is ripe for debauchery. It's like shooting polygamist fish in a barrel of coffee. -San Francisco Chronicle

Mark Marford had a box of tissues and a "Keith Olbermann thesaurus" in hand as he wrote this.
