Glenn Beck will go wild

Accuracy in the Media:

Wright is being introduced in the video by Robert W. McChesney, co-founder of Free Press, an organization which has come under scrutiny for its links to the Obama Administration and dedication to the transformation and control of the private media in the U.S.

In an article in the socialist Monthly Review, “Journalism, Democracy, and Class Struggle,” McChesney declared, “Our job is to make media reform part of our broader struggle for democracy, social justice, and, dare we say it, socialism.”

In the video, which captures Wright’s appearance at a September 17, 2009, anniversary celebration of Monthly Review, Wright said that while the “corporate media” provide a “binary lens” of the world, in such terms as “communist versus Christian,” Monthly Review offers what it calls “no-nonsense Marxism.”

He added: “You dispel all the negative images we have been programmed to conjure up with just the mention of that word socialism or Marxism.”

He called America “land of the greed and home of the slave.”

So is his "land of the greed and home of the slave" comment supposed to be about where we are, or about where the Marxists want us to be, because under Socialism there will be a few haves and the rest of us will be their slaves. That's "land of the greed and home of the slave." That's the only way that "Socialism" has ever occurred in any country throughout history. Look at Nazi (which is a shortening of the German words that mean Nationalist Socialist) Germany for instance. A takeover by the National Socialist Party that translating directly into a dictatorship under which we had one of history's greatest tragedies- the Holocaust. They had an egoist personality at the head (sound familiar?), who was a great speaker with grand promises that the people were looking to for hope and change and what they got was the opposite of hope and change. Socialism is not about people, and certainly not about revolutions by the people. Socialism is about greed and slavery, and the people at the top always benefit more than the ones at the bottom because thy can set themselves up to be the elite. Socialism starts from the top down and then they try to convince you that it was a "people's revolution." No. That's just what they want you to think.
