Perez Hilton And Shannon Moakler Join Hands In Protest... Hmm...

Saturday, May 30, 2009

Moakler the hypocrite stepped down from the Miss California committee in protest that Miss California gave her honest opinion when asked a question. Although the media treated her as just another outraged victim who protests injustice, the truth is that she was in league with Perez Hilton from the beginning.

Recently, she has joined with Perez Hilton, the judge who cost Miss California her crown and called her a "dumb b**ch." They filmed a protest for the NOH8 campaign, which seeks to overthrow the people's right to ammend their constitution.

Is Your Child Being Taught Homosexuality in School?

Friday, May 29, 2009

Multisexual indoctrination is spreading in California schools and elsewhere. This is quickly becoming a national issue. Find out about the issues, make sure your kids are protected. Social activists wishing to make political statements have no business in our schools.

Parents: How to Look for Homosexual Instruction in Your School

Families from several California school districts recently contacted Capitol Resource Institute, to say that their schools are implementing curriculum and assemblies that promote homosexuality.

“Alameda Unified had gotten a lot of the attention on this issue recently, but parents need to be looking out for it everywhere in California,” said Karen England, Executive Director of Capitol Resource Institute.

Whatever the district, the attitudes behind homosexual curriculum appear similar statewide, as are the special interest groups promoting it. Ron Mooney, Alameda Board of Education Vice President, voiced that attitude clearly when he spoke at last Tuesday night’s board meeting.

“You can have the wrong beliefs, but that’s something that should be taught at home,” he said.

In other words, Mooney told dissenting parents that only approval of multisexual behavior should be taught in school. Their beliefs would be countered in class. During the same meeting, Mooney and other board members successfully opposed an opt-out provision.

This anti-parent attitude is recurrent among those who promote homosexuality in education, though as one woman reminded Mooney, “Religion is another protected group.”

There are two key ways that families and communities can watch for the promotion of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality in California public schools.
First, this instruction is often implemented under the guise of combating bullying, harassment, and name calling. Watch for programs like “safe schools” or “(your district) cares.”

They often fail to distinguish between mistreatment and disagreement. Students may be expected to support homosexual and transgender behaviors, without regard for religious or personal convictions.

Second, it helps to be aware that multisexuality is promoted in a variety of formats. In response to recent CRI emails, California parents have shared stories about curriculum and school assemblies.

One teacher said she is expressly barred from telling some parents that their children have a different gender identity at school. In this context, parents must actively seek information.

Parents with traditional values have become the enemy, in the view of many public school employees, but parents banding together are making an impression in places like Alameda.

Please contact Institute if you find that homosexual behaviors — or gender changes — are actively promoted in your school. Knowing what happens across the state is a great help, as we work to defend family values in the Golden State.

About Sonia Sotomayor

How about we put in the most liberal Supreme Court justice ever? Sounds like par for the course for the ObamaNation.

  • President Obama has threatened to nominate liberal judicial activists who will indulge their left-wing policy preferences instead of neutrally applying the law. In selecting Judge Sonia Sotomayor as his Supreme Court nominee, President Obama has carried out his threat.

  • Judge Sotomayor will allow her feelings and personal politics to stand in the way of basic fairness. In a recent case, Ricci v. DeStefano, Sotomayor sided with a city that used racially discriminatory practices to deny promotions to firefighters. The per curiam opinion Sotomayor joined went so far out of its way to bury the firefighters' important claims of unfair treatment that her colleague, Judge Jose Cabranes, a Clinton appointee, chastised her.

  • According to Judge Cabranes, Sotomayor's opinion contains no reference whatsoever to the constitutional claims at the core of this case" and its "perfunctory disposition rests uneasily with the weighty issues presented by this appeal." Even the liberal Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen expressed disappointment with the case, stating, "Ricci is not just a legal case but a man who has been deprived of the pursuit of happiness on account of race."

  • Sotomayor's terrible decision in Ricci is under review by the Supreme Court and an opinion is expected by the end of June.

  • Sotomayor readily admits that she applies her feelings and personal politics when deciding cases. In a 2002 speech at Berkeley, she stated that she believes it is appropriate for a judge to consider their "experiences as women and people of color," which she believes should "affect our decisions." She went on to say in that same speech I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life." She reiterated her commitment to that lawless judicial philosophy at Duke Law School in 2005 when she stated that the "Court of Appeals is where policy is made."

  • The poor quality of Sotomayor's decisions is reflected in her terrible record of reversals by the Supreme Court.

  • Sotomayor is a favorite of far left special interest groups. In addition to her record as a hard left judicial activist, Sotomayor has been recommended for the Supreme Court by Nan Aron of the very liberal Alliance for Justice, who stated in a 2004 memo to the Senate Judiciary Committee that Sotomayor had "been through an initial vetting and fit into the criteria that we believe should be the standard for any Supreme Court justice."

  • The White House is sure to argue that Sotomayor is a "bipartisan pick" because Bush 41 appointed her to the district court: President George H.W. Bush nominated Sotomayor in 1991 only because the New York senators had forced on the White House a deal that enabled Senator Moynihan to name one of every four district court nominees in New York. In 1998, 29 Republican senators voted against President Clinton's nomination of Sotomayor to the Second Circuit.

More Americans Oppose "Gay Marriage"

Americans' views on same-sex marriage have essentially stayed the same in the past year, with a majority of 57% opposed to granting such marriages legal status and 40% in favor of doing so. Though support for legal same-sex marriage is significantly higher now than when Gallup first asked about it in 1996, in recent years support has appeared to stall, peaking at 46% in 2007.
Those who want same sex marriage versus those who want to preserve marriage are split along ideological lines, liberal versus conservative, although not along party lines.

Video: Critique Of Environmentalist Film In Our Schools

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Here's a good expose of the innacuracies and communist propaganda in the film "Story of Stuff" which is being preached to our kids in schools across the country.

Part 2, Part 3, Part 4

NH Senate Votes NO to Allowing the People to Vote on Gay Marriage Issue

Votes Were Along Party Lines

Today, Senator Bragdon introduced an amendment on the floor of the Senate, that would have provided the voters of New Hampshire an opportunity to vote on a non-binding referendum, on gay marriage, in the 2010 elections.

CPR-Action, Executive Director Kevin Smith, made the following statement:

"It is very disappointing that the Senate would not even allow a non-binding referendum to go before the voters on such a contentious and divisive issue as gay marriage. A day after the voters in California had their say in the matter upheld by the courts there, and with the voters in Maine waiting to exercise their "people's veto" on the issue later this year, it is incredibly undemocratic of the New Hampshire Senate to tell the voters of our state that they will not get their say on the matter, especially when so many are asking for the opportunity. If the supporters of gay marriage are so confident that the people in the state also support it, why are they afraid to put the question before the voters?"

Smith added, "One thing is for sure, the voters will no doubt express their opinion on this matter at the ballot box next year when it's time to vote for candidates who have supported and opposed gay marriage."

Update: Levi's Gives $50,000 Against Prop-8

Levi's jeans gave two donations of $25,000 to the National Center For Lesbian Rights and The San Francisco LGBT Community Center. Both are fighting heavily against basic democratic and religious rights surrounding the passage of proposition 8.

Perhaps in a bid to be cool, Levis added a gay-pride ribbon to their logo which appears on all their products.

Bush Backstabber Attacks Prop-8 In Federal Court

The Republican Party is dead... btw

Ted Olson, who argued in court on behalf of George Bush in the Florida election Gore vs. Bush fiasco, will introduce a federal lawsuit, asking the court to stop enforcement of Proposition 8 and to allows homosexuals to marry.

The liberals in the Republican and Democrat parties keep digging the hole deeper. It started with simple thuggery against religious rights, it snowballed into an attack against people's right to amend their constitution, and now it is an attack on basic state rights.

Excellent Article on Same-Sex Identity Politics

From the sage Chairm:

Equality is typically predicated on characteristics that do not imply actions, because actions are always choices. Skin color is irrelevant. And unchosen. Sexual orientation is almost certainly unchosen, but the decision to incorporate a sexual desire into one’s identity, and then to act on it, is a decision. Maybe most people think it’s the right decision, the healthiest decision, but the point is that it’s a choice, and subject to moral reflection. A sexual desire is not its own justification.

I want to add that the SSM campaign's emphasis on sexual orientation has not materialized in a legal requirement for gayness when people show up for a license to SSM.

And, obviously, there is no such "sexual orientation" criteria for marriage -- neither for eligibility nor for ineligibility. We should recognize that marriage unites the sexes. And what makes this a sexual type of relationship is not a raw desire for sex with the opposite sex; it is the influence of a social institution that makes normative the solidarity of fatherhood and motherhood. That's why I emphasize the marital presumption of paternity and the lack of anything in the SSM law that would make SSM a sexual type of arrangement and, much less, a "gay" relationship type.

Too many libertarians do not understand the essentially Marxist project they are now promoting. Watch out. Individuals may be left free, but institutions that stand against the state’s values will be repressed in the name of equality. Individuals who are not free to form institutions (associate) are impotent against the state’s power to impose its values.

The social conservative argument is not the only argument against the imposition of SSM. But it is a big umbrella argument that protects what libertarian principles espouse; and it also protects what liberalism (not the distorted modern American version) holds as socially and morally significant.

The thing that distorts and shrinks libertarianism and liberalism -- and which is directly opposed to social conservativism -- is the assertion of supremacy of identity politics. In the case of marriage this has materialized as a direct attack on marriage and on the principled basis for the three major versions of the American philosphic tradition. It is an attack on religious and political pluralism.

I encourage you to read Maggie's entire column. And read it twice again. Redefining Religious Liberty

VT Rep Trombley sends snotty reply to marriage activists

This from Euripides:

On April 7, 2009, the Vermont State Assembly voted to overrule the governor's veto and successfully neutered marriage in that state, allowing the state to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples. Marriage advocates who had organized to fight on behalf of marriage were largely ignored. The governor was ignored. The majority of people in the state were ignored. Yet, the damage was done. The state redefined this fundamental social institution.

As part of the push on behalf of marriage, I called certain of Vermont's Assembly members and emailed all of them. Just the other day, I received an email reply from Ira Trombley, a member of the State Assembly:

You must have a computer virus. Your email, below, is identical to others.
Why would someone in far off, sunny AZ try to influence a domestic issue in tiny VT?
Doesn't AZ have an economic crisis to solve?
I did not like what AZ did to the housing market, but I did not bombard AZ with thousands of emails.

>>> 03/25/09 7:11 PM >>>
March 25, 2009
The Honorable Ira Trombley
115 State Street
State House
Montpelier, VT 05633-5501

Other marriage advocates received the same type of email - a form email - from Mr. Trombley.

Mr. Trombley, in response to real concerns about neutering marriage, gives a joke of an answer. He shows a complete lack of understanding of the national import that Vermont may have on neutering marriage. He shows a lack of understanding of organized political advocacy. He also demonstrates a flippant and denigrating response to a very real and serious query.

Levi's Goes Gay- Boycott!

Tuesday, May 26, 2009

Joining the ranks of McDonalds, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and hundreds of other elitist corporations. Levi's jeans now have white knots on them, showing solidarity with our poor, victimized homosexual brethren.

Breaking!!! Police have started arresting rioters in front of the San Francisco city hall

Don't think it's over yet

The 18,000 "gay marriages" already performed (including the non-marriage marriages illegally performed by Gavin Newsome, I assume) are here to stay. And opponents are already scheming to seek a "comprimise" civil marriage bill with hidden wording that they will twist into gay marriage.

A spokesman for Governator Backstabber said that he was "hoping it would go the other way. But it didn't, and he will uphold what they have to say. ... He's always said it's not his job to impose that upon others, so he believes that someday soon, either the courts or the people will give same-sex individuals the right to marry. But it's his duty as governor to carry out whatever the Supreme Court says he needs to do."

Protesters are blocking traffic freely in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Sacramento without any police interference.

Carlos Moreno was the only judge to vote against the people's right to control their constitution.

I am very glad that the California Supreme Court saw fit to uphold the democratic action of the people. To do anything else would have been judicial tyranny and the people would have removed some or all of those justices from office (as we did the incompetent Grey Davis).

But I am not happy that they made it clear they were doing it “with the gun pointed to their heads,” figuratively speaking. And I am not happy that they took the words “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California” to mean that only the gay marriages performed during the loophole they so idiotically/subversively opened (depending on what you believe their motives were) will be valid and recognized by the state.

No, the State Supreme Court did not uphold the will of the people today; they caved on one point to save their worthless hides, while showing their true colors on the second. Their decision was not a compromise, it is a rebellion and an expectation that “gay marriage” will soon be legalized again anyways. I would still be in favor of repealing some of those liberal hacks. Goodness knows, all branches of the California government need shaken up and aired out.

"Gay Marriage" Taught in School Leave Children Confused

Sunday, May 24, 2009

The issue of redefining marriage to include same-gender couples really comes down to what is more important to our society: Allowing gender-troubled adults the "freedom" to be recognized as completely normal or allowing our children to be raised in healthy, stable environments. You can't have it both ways. Teaching that "gay marriage" is normal and good encourages further gender confusion in our society and can place children in dangerous and emotionally unhealthy situations. Between sexual deviants and innocent children, I say the latter deserves our protection more.

Victory Over Gay Curriculum in Alameda Schools

Wednesday, May 20, 2009

"When citizens unite, they can have a huge impact on their community and government. That's exactly what happened on Tuesday evening at the Alameda Unified School District meeting. The school board meeting was so overwhelmed by the approximately 300 parents who showed up to testify against the proposed homosexual curriculum, the fire marshal had to ask half the crowd to leave.

This is incredibly encouraging; parents are taking action to protect their children and hold their school board accountable.

Since there were over 175 speakers at the normally scheduled Tuesday evening school board meeting, the remaining speakers were put on a list to speak at a special carryover meeting scheduled for the following Monday evening, May 18.

Obviously May 18th has come and gone, but please continue to address this issue with blog posts, letters to editors, letters to the school board, etc. Together, we can make a difference! Go Team!

Cap and Trade = Energy Tax

The "cap-and-trade" legislation (HR2454) that is being pushed through congress by Chairman Henry Waxman (CA- D) is just another tax on the American people. Even President Obama has admitted that it is going to be an additional cost on every household and business in this country. It will cost the average American family anywhere from $700 to $3,000 a year depending on whose analysis you believe. I believe the $3000 estimate determined by a study conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

It's a tax! "Cap-and-trade" is just another tax and a huge expansion of government bureaucracy.

Bill: (HR2454) American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009

Summary of Bill: Cap and Tax Overview

Democrats have this legislation on a fast track hoping that the American people will not notice.

Please contact your Representative and both Senators with the following message:
Please vote NO on the upcoming 'cap-and-trade' legislation. We do not need another tax on the people of this country nor another government bureaucracy.

Please respond immediately! Congress has this bill on a fast track.

Notre Shame

Monday, May 18, 2009

The current state of events happening over at Notre Dame, a private Catholic university, could not be better summer up than this:

From Diane at Te Deum Laudamus: "This is probably one of the most exceptional things I have ever seen: Notre Dame has an 80 year old priest arrested on it's campus as he sings Immaculate Mary. There is something ironic that the most pro-abortion president in the history of the United States is welcome on the grounds of a Catholic university under the guise of "dialogue" while an 80 year old priest is arrested for protesting it." (She has video of the arrest as well.)

Professor McInerny at "The Catholic Thing": "How did it come about that so many Catholics have such a mushy notion of what it means to be a Catholic? The teaching of the faith since the close of Vatican II in 1965 has been scandalously inadequate. In many cases it has been the deliberate substituting of stones for bread. It began with waffling on contraception when theologians, real or self-proclaimed, impudently rejected Humanae Vitae, one of the great encyclicals of modern times. The scandal of the encyclical was that it placed Catholics on one side of a line and the zeitgeist on the other. Yet dissent from it was allowed to flourish. Moral theology went into steep decline and the official body of Catholic theologians issued Human Sexual Morality in which doubt was cast on the long tradition of teaching on pre-marital and extra-marital sex, abortion, masturbation, homosexuality, divorce – a systematic dismantling of Catholic moral teaching

......And so it was that on Sunday at Notre Dame faithful Catholics were regarded as dissenters."

Father John Malloy at A Shepherd's Voice: "Those covering the commencement have reported that when protestors objected to Obama's presence (an objection also made by the local ordinary, Bishop D'Arcy) they were drowned out by chants of "Yes, we can!" Faced with a choice between faithfulness to Catholic teaching and whatever it is that President Obama represents, the chanting Notre Dame graduates chose the latter. That is after at least four years of study at an ostensibly "Catholic" university. A school for scandal."

Socialism 101

After all the poverty, murder and destruction that has been caused in this world in an attempt to make socialism work, it is beyond me why anyone would still keep trying to make it work. And yet President Obama and the Democrats are trying to do just that: with our economy, healthcare, schools, foreign relations . . . Salvation through government control. Give me freedom or give me death!

"An economics professor at a USA college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.
That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor
and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism. All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
Could not be any simpler than that. "

Obama's Top Advisor Calls Miss California A Dog

Protesters Heckle Obama's Notre Dame Speech

At least 4 protesters interrupted Obama's commencement address to catholic Notre Dame University.

Over 20,000 protesters were expected outside the campus, and the university has confirmed that $13.9 million in donations have been withheld from the university due to pro-abortion Obama's receiving an honorary degree.

Dozens of peaceful protesters have been arrested on campus these last couple days, including the now pro-life Roe in Roe vs. Wade, and several key Catholic priests. Many students have boycotted the graduation due to pro-abortion Obama's address.

Lesbian California Pageant Leader Resigns In Protest Of Gay Marriage Free Speech

Wednesday, May 13, 2009

Of course the liberal media won't report that Moakler is gay, with kids she doesn't take care of with three different men, and has bashed Prejean heavily on Hilton's behalf.

Shanna Moakler has resigned from Miss California Pageant Director, apparently because Donal Trump allowed Carrie Prejean to give her honest opinion supporting traditional marriage, when asked by a judge.

"I cannot with a clear conscious move forward supporting and promoting the Miss Universe Organization when I no longer believe in it, or the contracts I signed committing myself as a youth," she told, "Since the press conference yesterday, I had a chance to think about what has taken place, and I feel that at this time it is in my best interest to resign from the Miss California USA organization."

Moakler says she still wants to be a role model for "young girls" and can't do that anymore... Never mind that she posed for playboy the day she finished her time as Ms. California. Great role model! No hypocrisy there!(The media won't tell you about that either)

Moakler also assaulted Paris Hilton over some loser guy. Travis Barker and her had a great time with very racy videos on the internet and spousal abuse... great role model!

Miss California Keeps Her Crown After Gays Attack

This was Carrie Prejean's reaction after Donald Trump decided to let her keep her Miss California crown. Prejean was under attack for saying she personally disagrees with gay marriage after being asked the question by a flaming gay judge.

Prejean would have won Miss America if she hadn't answered honestly.

Trump declared that Prejean's personal convictions are the same as Barry Obama's. As for those underwear pictures the dirty left dug up to smear Prejean, Trump said, "We're in the 21st century."

MSNBC's reaction to Trump's decision: It "makes me want to vomit".

Another Politician to Ignore his Constituants and Neuter Marriage

Monday, May 11, 2009

See this survey out of New Hampshire from Cornerstone Policy Research:

Over the last two days, CPR-Action surveyed EVERY HOUSEHOLD IN NH – that’s right, 432,398 households – and asked a simple question:

Do you agree that marriage between one man and one woman
should be the only legal definition of marriage in NH?
The results? 64% of the New Hampshire public said “YES”. Republicans, Democrats, and Independents have sent a clear message: do not re-define marriage in New Hampshire!

Obama Laughs As Liberal Calls Limbaush Treasonous, Calls For His Death

Sunday, May 10, 2009

Obama laughs his head off as radical liberal Wanda Sykes calls for Rush Limbaugh's death and calls him treasonous, the 20th hijacker on 9/11.

Update: WH Spokeman Gibbs says 9/11 is not a laughing matter. No comment on the death wish, however.

Republican Chairman: Romney Lost Because He's Mormon

When will people just admit this simple fact?

Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican National Committee, said on the Bill Bennett radio show:

"...It was the base that rejected Mitt because of his switch on pro-life, from pro-choice to pro-life. It was the base that rejected Mitt because it had issues with Mormonism. It was the base that rejected Mitch, Mitt, because they thought he was back and forth and waffling on those very economic issues you’re talking about. So, I mean, I hear what you’re saying, but before we even got to a primary vote, the base had made very clear they had issues with Mitt because if they didn’t, he would have defeated John McCain in those primaries in which he lost.
