Gay Rights Groups Harass Mormon Church With More Complaints

Monday, February 16, 2009

The militant gay group Californians Against Hate filed a second campaign finance complaint against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The church has been hammered by the media and radical bigots after its latest report showed $189,903 in expenses, though other churches and organizations such as Focus on the Family spent much more.

The group falsely claims that the church broke laws and sought to cover up their activities. "I'm calling this Mormongate. I think there's been a massive cover-up." said ," the group's founder said.

The church responded to AP: "Today's press conference should be seen for what it is—a publicity stunt as part of a campaign to marginalize and intimidate those who voted to support traditional marriage ... Mr. Karger is entitled to his opinion. He is not entitled to make up facts."

These folks have a really skewed sense of reality. And they're the ones who are first to complain against the Mormons. Is Karger wearing his foil hat yet?
